Ever look back at your very first DIS post???

Ever check your user CP to see your subscribed threads? I went WAY back to my very first DIS Boards post. It was on Sept 11, 2002 and was titled "Help with shore excursions in Nassau and Freeport!"

Thought that was kinda funny! Way back when Freeport was actually a port of call on the Wonder!

Mine was from a thread called "Pics from my recent trip to DLP" where I said

Lovely pics, Haha i have that exact same photo of Donald too at the Studios Parade!!

I met Donald once, at the Studios, he just came out on his little car and we got in there before the crowds spied him!!

Apparently it was 'What is your favourite attraction?' Over on the teen board. This must of been 2005, just before the trip when I was 16. Wow! A long time ago!

I searched but it wasn't definetly my first post. I remember though my first thread in which I asked if Walkie Talkies were allowed in WDW, I even made that question to the podcast team in one e-mail show.

My first posts aren't there either. The first one that is showing up was from March 2001. I was asking about a sitter service for my 3 year old. He is 11 now.

My first posts were back in 1999 when I found the DIS when Googling for info on the cruise line. I asked a question about tipping on the cruise on the cruise board. I think that was my first post.

Never checked, and I'm not sure I found my first one. The earliest one I could find was from April 2007 entitled "Just back from YC - and ?s." This was as we were planning our first trip to WDW after many years at DL.

First one I could find was one of the many WPASADI threads. Last post on that thread was one of Mumbling Jumba's posts.

I don't recall my exact first post (could not locate it), but I have one of NC Beast's first posting still in my subscription list. He wanted some info on housing/city info because he was considering a South Florida job when he was changing job accountsin Jan. 2004. We decided that we stay here in NC for now.

The earliest one showing for me was July 2001, but I know I had some as far back as 1999.

The post from 2001 was commenting on how when I called to check rates, they asked for my name and zip code. And I wondered if they were tracking how often I called.

That was new in 2001 evidently.

My first was a question about a hotel - BWI, I think. Other questions followed.

My first non-question post was on a refillable mug fight thread. They're still my favorite. Haven't been as good the last couple years - nobody posting the definition of the word "theft", nobody saying someone's children should be taken away for refillable mugging, nobody claiming that they work for Coca~Cola and know for a fact that Disney gets their pop for free. Still love 'em, though!

I just clicked on user CP, then "view all subscribed threads". I never knew I was saving them, but every thread I ever started or posted on was there....it was fun going thru a few of them!

I unsubscribed from a whole bunch of them a while back, so they are no longer in my CP. I got tired of the occasional 3 year old resurrection of a dead thread, so got rid of the oldest ones, only saving a few that had special meaning.

when search isn't disabled, you can also click on your username and select "Find more posts by [your name]" and it will show you all of your posts.

(Very handy in seeing if people are a troll or otherwise argumentative, as well. Shhhhh. )

Asking for the best place to eat under $20 per person for our first trip as a married couple on a super tight budget with a surprise tax refund that year...

Extra buns and split double-cheeseburgers and water to drink with Crystal Light packets in them... good times, good times...

Hi, first post here on the Dis!

We died and went to character heaven at H&V Little Einsteins lunch! We went on Fri, July 14 this year. Hot as anything in FL that day, crowded, too. But not so crowded at H&V for lunch that day!

It was easy to find because I confessed it was my first

And hindsight is 20/20 because we went back to that meal a year later and it was NOT a great experience. Funny how things change!
