Ever have the concierge get you reservations

I have had AKL CL staff help me

1) Concierge *usually* can pull a string or two at THEIR OWN resort.
. . . the eateries do us some favors
. . . we return the favor if they ask us to send something to a favorite guest's room
. . . scratching each other's back is a good thing *
2) At other eateries, their success would be no greater nor no worse than if you had tried (unless they personally knew the person at the eatery).

* I once had a request from a SERVER to send some flowers to a guest, and sent a wine basket, cheese, and flowers. Need I say that any of our Concierge have never had a problem squeezing in people when we have asked..

1) It was noted IN my post that:
. . . this was for a reservation at Boma
. . . which is a restaurant at AKL
. . . which was the resort CL I was staying at.

2) So... yes? I don't see what you are trying to correct here by only quoting part of my post...
