Ever had a Bad character experience?

Only one, and even then, it was more disappointing than bad.

At Akershus last time, my younger DD (then a month shy of 3) was wearing a Sleeping Beauty costume. When Aurora came over, she talked to my 7 YO... and mostly ignored the little one, who was trying to tell her the whole time that Aurora was her favorite. She finally did speak to the little one, but it wasn't for very long, and she had to go.

Cinderella MORE than made up for it. We had the advantage of having a late lunch seating, and the restaurant was almost empty by the time we left, so we had some extra time with the princesses. She went above and beyond paying attention to both of them.

Looking through my pics, the only one that didn't bend down was Snow White, but that's what my wife has on flickr, and may just mean that I got a bad picture. The little one was in a high chair, and they all bent down for the pictures.

I've never had a bad character interaction per se, but I did have one that ruined the magic a little bit.
Last summer, me, my little sister who was 4, and my mom went to pixie hollow so my sis could meet the fairies. They were all wonderful and sweet (tink even told me not to grow up to fast after I refused a pic) particularly iridessa. Well the next day (which was our last day) we made a special trip to epcot so my little sis could meet mulan who's one of her favorites. We get there and there's no line or anything, but somethings wrong. Mulan looks exactly like iridessa who we met the day before. Mulan even knew my sisters name, before my sister handed mulan her autograph book (which had her name in it)...Thankfully my little sis didn't notice it, but me and my mom just gave each other a look. But mulan handled it beautifully, didn't break character even for a second. (I know she remembered us from the day before because my sis and her had quite the conversation.)

Perhaps you mean Silvermist?

yup got them confused oops :goodvibes I forgot to mention my little bro was with us when we met mulan and although he won't admit it he had quite the crush on her, and when mulan asked him "are these your sisters?" he got quite tongue-tied and said "yeah I'm her sister." Mulan just laughed and said "do you mean brother?" and he was so sheepish after that it was beyond cute. And to this day when we remind him about it he blushes bright red...

Yes the Visa card member meet in Greet that is in Innoventions in Epcot was terrible. I had never done it and it was advertized as a special M&G. There were only 3 families ahead of us and we waited almost 2 hours. They let you spend way to much time with the characters. After 2 hours it was the same generic Mickey and Minnie you can meet else where.

Not as WDW but at DL. Goofy at Goofys kitchen was in a horrible mood. He was rude to the guests and you could just tell by his actions that he did not want to be there. WEll I had taken some of my grandkids and had told them that this was an awesome place. When it turned out badly I wrote and emailed DL to let them know I was very dissappointed and the very QUICKLY took care of it. I was very happy with their quick response and willingness to help me.

We had this happened to us once. We had breakfast at Akershus one morning and Ariel was there. She was very sweet etc. As we were touring the World @ Epcot, we decided to see Belle and Beast that afternoon. That Belle looked suspiciously like Ariel from our breakfast. Hmmm.. :rolleyes1

Even as they wound down their visit, she still wouldn't look at him

I've seen him before! He is awsome

I've never had a bad character interaction, but I did have a very WEIRD one last June at Epcot...it was on Donald Duck's birthday and we saw the Mexican themed Donald outside of the Mexico pavillion, so we decided to head over to say hi. There were just a few people in line, but my husband plopped down on a bench (IT WAS HAWWWWWT that day!!! Big duh, June in Florida, right???) and our 2 kids went to get into line. I was just kind of off to the side ready to take pics when I said "Hey, Happy Birthday, Donald!" and Donald waved at me and kind of continued to motion/wave at me. When my kids went up, I sang "Happy Birthday" to Donald and he hugged me and then we started to dance and then the whole thing got out of control...Donald hugged me and did not let go and was making kissy noises. He continued to hug & hug & hug and bend me backward kind of 1940's style...until we both fell to the pavement! He STILL continued to hug me...my kids were HORRIFIED, totally embarased. My husband was taking pictures the whole time. People were making comments like "What the????" I could not believe it...I was afraid something would happen to the costume, that kids would be mortified. I am a HUGE Disney fan, so this was just stunning to me. Even the handler was like, "Ummm, ok Donald, Daisy will get jelous." The photo pass photographer stopped shooting pics....on our card it was all of the hugs and then me on the ground before I got up. The whole incident made me crack up, but I was just surprised by it. I was not hurt of course, but I was surprised that Donald was so strong. I am 5'8 and Donald is small, but Donald knocked me straight to the ground! That whole trip last year we had awesome character interaction (dancing w/the country bears, Goofy stealing our camera and taking pics with it, etc...) but the whole family continues to talk about the day Donald attacked Mom on his birthday!:scared1:
