My November 17 cruise on the fantasy, booked a GTY verandah and got an extended verandah on deck 5.
For my upcoming cruise on the Fantasy in 2.5 weeks, booked GTY inside and got a verandah one on deck 7 assigned.

Yes it went in 2 steps, from GTY inside, it upgraded to GTY verandah and then two weeks ago I got my room

We have received one upgrade in 5 cruises. This was back in 2006 on the Wonder— from an 11B to 9B. It’s the only time we haven’t had an inside stateroom!
