We're one day away from our 10 day trip to Florida! I'll be working remotely through most of it, but we'll be visiting Miami, as well as Orlando -- staying in the Animal Kingdom Lodge (the first deluxe stay for DH and I!)
I'm excited, but man do I have THE JITTERS. It seem like there is a mountain of work to finish before we go -- and I do not feel ready!
Here's two tips that I'm keeping in mind to deal with my butterflies:
1) Deal with one thing at a time. I've made a to-do list, and it's awesome to see the list get smaller as we get closer to our departure!
2) Repeat the mantra: "No biggie." I recently read something that stuck with me: most things are only an issue if you think they are. So if I don't get to everything on my list? No biggie. If I feel like I'm running out o time? No biggie. Feeling stressed and anxious? No biggie. I got this, the world will continue to turn if I don't finish everything, and we're going to have a great time.
Do you ever get the pre-vacation jitters? How do you deal with them?
