Evening MK Parade updates?

Has there been any updates on if/when they are bringing a new night time parade to the MK? I wish they would recreate and bring back Spectro, but I imagine that's unlikely.

Very good question. I know my kids' marching band has been scheduled to march in april on a Saturday night.
Normally they go out before the 8 pm parade about 7:30. They scheduled them after MSEP was canceled.

I'm not expecting a parade to be back in place at all. I'd really like them to move them to daytime marching so it will be easier to take pictures of them!

I feel like it's unlikely that the Magic Kingdom won't have a light up parade "forever".
That said, it wouldn't surprise me if there were a new parade or an MSEP return for the 50th.
And yes - that means I wouldn't be surprised if they went years without a light up night parade.

Automated characters might be difficult but I feel like they already have or could easily have automated parade floats.

Why is there not more traction around the idea that MK will get MSEP back after the PTN refurb is finished at DL? It seems ridiculous that that they wouldn't either get the parade back or premiere a new one, since MSEP went west while PTN was down for a refurb.

Its been rumored that after the run at DL, MSEP will officially be retired. Personally I think it's time the parade is quite old and with other nighttime parades out now they can do much better.

Agreed, but it's still better than nothing. I actually never took the time to watch MSEP (other than when my parents took me as a small child that I don't remember) until this past summer when I knew it was my last chance. I had obviously seen it passing by and thought it looked pretty boring. But I actually enjoyed it when I took the time to watch it. I'd much rather have MSEP than a night version of FoF. It's a great daytime parade for sure, but I'd just much rather get something closer to PTN or keep MSEP than adding lights to an existing parade.

How many times do you want them to roll the old electrical parade out?

I'd rather everyone keep standing in line for mine train...that way they can feel Justified in never touching magic kingdom again...it's good for business

2. No one seems to be clamoring for one. The reaction seems to be more "aw, shucks. When can I purchase my extra $120 magical night time ticket or my extra $69 magical morning ticket?"
3. From their Ivory Wall Street tower, they probably think it creates more demand for the $100 party tickets.
4. It goes with the new theme "you want something? Pay me more"

Hopefully I'm wrong. I want to be, anyway....
