On my next visit, I'm going to have a couple non-park days while I wait for the rest of my travel party to arrive. I figure it's the perfect time to explore some of the resorts I've never made my way over to while I'm traveling solo.

The resorts in question I intend to visit:
  • Wilderness Lodge
  • Fort Wilderness Resort
  • Coronado Springs
  • Caribbean Beach
  • Riviera Resort
  • Old Key West
  • Saratoga Springs
  • Animal Kingdom Lodge (have been there once before to dine at Sanaa, but have not really explored it otherwise)
Any particular table or quick service places you'd highly recommend at these resorts while I'm making the rounds?

  • Wilderness Lodge - Geyser Point
  • Fort Wilderness Resort - No Suggestion
  • Coronado Springs - Toledo
  • Caribbean Beach - No suggestion
  • Riviera Resort - Topolino
  • Old Key West - Olivias
  • Saratoga Springs - Turf Club
  • Animal Kingdom Lodge (have been there once before to dine at Sanaa, but have not really explored it otherwise) - Jiko

Wilderness Lodge’s Roaring Fork is a must do! Their bear claws go quick though, so come early!

WL: Territory Lounge…Charcuterie Board

Coronado Springs: Three Bridges Bar and Grill…yummy sangrias and snacks

Riviera: Topolino’s Terrace for breakfast with characters…pricey but yummy

These are some of my favorites! Resort hopping is one of favorites too!

My favorites are:

Wilderness Lodge - Geyser Point
Coronado Springs - Three Bridges
Riviera Resort - Topolino's (or Primo Piatto for less expensive CS)
Old Key West - Olivia's
Animal Kingdom Lodge - Sanaa, Boma, and Jiko

Saratoga Springs has okay food but nothing exceptionally special...that being said if you just want something like a hot dog or sandwich the food window they have by the golf course has surprisingly good prices for on property food

At the resorts you listed, I'd definitely put Geyser Point on the list - relaxing, beautiful outdoor spot for a good burger and good cocktails too if you partake.

At Coronado, Toledo is a solid choice - food is good, views are nice, and the bar there is a nice spot too (Dahlia Lounge). Maya Grill at Coronado is pretty decent and oft overlooked - it has gone through many permutations, some not so good, but lately seems to be staying pretty good. Three Bridges is casual, open air, no reservations similar to Geyser Point

Topolino's at Riviera is a favorite of mine, and great bar too - lovely high views. For casual/quick serve, Primo Piatto is one of the best choices at any resort, and you can get the same foods right around the corner in the Bar Riva which is a comfy spot for a cocktail by the pool.

At AK Lodge, Jiko remains (in my opinion) the best restaurant on Disney property. The Victoria Falls bar is a great bar, and also secretly has an interesting venison/beef burger on the menu as well as other good appetizers and great drinks.

SSR's Turf Club is actually a very good restaurant in its current iteration - but I wouldn't necessarily feel the need to go to SSR when not staying there just for the food - with Disney Springs a short walk away, SSR doesn't really need a great restaurant anyway.
