I'm sorry if this is a repeat question. I couldn't find the answer when I searched.

If Future World's scheduled hours are 9am-7pm and World Showcase's are 11am-9pm, how late is each part open? FW until 10pm and WS until 12am? :confused3

That's a good question. We've stayed onsite several times since EMH started. We even went to Epcot on one of them. I remember World showcase closing at midnight, but don't remember future world.

Just went and checked the EMH hours for September (although this will be true for any month), but when Epcot designates EMH they say whether it is Future World or World Showcase, but NOT BOTH for the same morning or evening. I think that answers your question (the hours would only be extended for the appropriate area by one hour in the morning or 3 hours in the evening.)

I'm looking at Oct. 13, looks like this:

Future World
9:00am - 7:00pm
World Showcase
11:00am - 9:00pm

Extra Magic Hours

It doesn't seem to specify FW or WS.

Go instead to the "All Park Hours" page. Here is the link for the October hours:
http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/oct05.cfm

For October 13, it shows Future World having EMH evening hours. (The hours show 9am to 7 pm with an asterisk.) The hours should be 9am to 10 pm WITH the extra magic hours for Future World and 11 am to 9 pm for World Showcase.

At least that's how I read them, but I acknowledge that I am often quite dense!

There is a list on wdwig.com (allears.net) of the attractions open during EMH at each park epcot includes most FW attractions and the boat rides in mexico and norway--plus the kidcot fun stops. I dont know how to post the link, but if you click on theme parks-- then Extra magic hours, then scroll down through the hours posted to find the attraction --mornings and evenings are listed seperately as to which attractions are open!! :sunny:

OK, am I totally missing it here? AllEars shows some attractions from both Future World and World Showcase being open for evening EMH. The DIS only shows that Future World is open late. And the official WDW site doesn't specify FW or WS. ??? :confused3

Taken from disney.com:

Living with the Land, Mission: SPACE®, Soarin', Spaceship Earth, Test Track
Evenings:
Includes attractions listed above and Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, Journey Into Imagination with Figment, Mexico-El Río del Tiempo, Norway-Maelstrom, The American Adventure

So does that mean both are open 3 hours later? FW is open until 10pm and WS until 12am?

I have asked this before and was told: WS is open 11-9. FW is open 9-7, but most of the e-rides are also open until 9. Evening EMH is from 9-12, right after Illuminations. Hope that is correct, because I am planning to be there in two weeks with this schedule.

from disney.com:

Extra Magic Hours

Each day one of the Disney Theme Parks opens an hour early or stays open up to three hours after regular Park closing, so Disney Resort Guests* can enjoy easy access to select attractions — even the most popular ones! With Extra Magic Hours, you can make the most of your vacation time and see and do everything at an easy, relaxed pace.

since it says "after regular park closing" and EPCOT closes at 9pm....the EMH would be from 9-12pm

Just to clarify- according to the list, some attractions in FW and WS are open during EMH. That doesn't mean though that ALL of either "land" is open- just what's specified, and probably a few shops and dining establishments (cuz disney sure isn't gonna let you stay in the park with nowhere to spend more money! ;-)) Count on the attractions listed, and probably shops/eateries nearby being open. Anything not on the list you need to make sure you do during normal park hours! -Meg

Here's the deal, folks.

Epcot (the entire park) is open until midnight on EMH nights. Most attractions in Future World actually stay open until 9:00 for the general public on EMH nights, with the exception of Universe of Energy and Innoventions (possibly a few others). It isn't feasible for Disney to shut down the rides and open them 2 hours later. World Showcase is also open until midnight. You can walk the whole of the showcase and many shops and restaurants are open late. However, the French and China movies do not show.

Any other questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Cari - please post the food locations. Thanks for the list. It is very helpful!

Where do you work in Epcot?

Since we have an expert here... Is the Coral Reef Resaurant in the Living Seas Pavilion. Is the restaurant closed now?

I'm not the CM expert, but I'm pretty certain that I've read that the Coral Reef Restaurant is open during the rehab. However, according to allearsnet the restaurant is not open during EMH.

Just got back and FYI Test Track does offer Fast Pass for the EMH. So if you get there right before Illuminations you can get new Fast Passes.

Soarin' does not offer the Fast Pass during EMH nights. We waited an hour and 20 minutes. It was cool but I don't think worth all the hype and lines of over 90 minutes.

Thanks for posting this! I would love to know which shops are open as well :goodvibes Where do you work in Epcot, maybe we will see you in Oct. Thanks!
