I know that it officially states that the wristbands will be distributed 2 hours before closing time. But I recall other people saying that they were able to get theirs earlier. Anyone with any recent updates on how early they start passing these out?

And do ALL members of your party have to be there to get your wristband? Can I take all the hotel ID's for my party of 4 and get 4 wristbands?

Finally, when do they STOP passing out the wristbands? Do they continue them after EMH begins?

Thanks!!

Hi,

For the EMH in Epcot last week (extended from 9pm to midnight) the places to get the Bands were open from 7pm until 11pm. They might have been giving them out a few minutes earlier.

As they put the bands on you I think all members of the party would have to be there but not 100% sure on this.

Regards

I read somewhere else this weekend that yes, everybody had to be present, and that only passes that had been used to get into that park that day would let you get the EMH wristband.

Of course, now I can't find the thread that it was on.

Are these locations clearly marked? There is all this stuff to remember - where to get a wristband, fastpasses, what's open for EMH, etc... I'll probably forget something like getting a wristband.

Really? EMH is supposed to be for Resort guests, so I would think that you would need your Resort ID (room key)?

Why would all of your party need to be present at once?

I am sure that my son and I could go around 7 and get our wristbands, and them my parents could join us later at 9 if they wanted......

as long as everyone has the appropriate resort id and park admission, each person should be able to get their wristbands individually if they wanted to.

I called and asked once if we were to go at 11pm would I need to have a wristband or would I be allowed in and they told me as long as I had my resort key I didn't need to get there eariler to get a writband. How ever the reason I asked was because everyone always talks on here like you need to get the wristband earlier.
Anyone have a problem getting in showing up at 11pm or later? I will try calling again and talking to another CM I find some doesn't always answer correctly maybe because they are new or what ever the reason being.

I went to MGM EMH last night. They were putting the wristbands on each person. I don't think they would allow you to get wristbands for your whole family and put them on yourself (they work like hospital bracelets). One cm checked room keys and then 3 others were putting them on. One woman was there with a child in a stroller and said her family had the room keys, they stood firm in not giving her wristbands. The cm at the ride entrances were carefully checking each person.

I got there right at 9:00pm and got my wristband to the left of the entrance. When I left about 10:20, people were still coming in. I rode ToT twice before Fantasmic left out with little wait. When I starting walking over towards RnR, people were pouring out of Fantasmic, the line was about 25 min.

The "only the passes used to get into the park" comment is for people who do not have park hopping tickets. You have to have admission to that park to be able to use EMH. For example, if you used your non-hopping pass to get into MK that day, you could not participate in MGM's EMH that night.

I guess I used the wrong terminology. My bad. The thing I read was that it wouldn't be possible to get a couple of park passes (KTTW or otherwise) and use them to get wristbands, because supposedly Disney knows (we're watching you!!) whether or not that pass (kttw or otherwise) had been used to enter the EMH park that day. So we couldn't, say, take Larry's because Larry wants to stay at the resort and swim (or something like that).

Sometimes me not talk goodly...
