Evening EMH when staying off-site

How does that usually work? I think I read that they will check your magic band before getting on any rides during the evening EMH to ensure you are an on-site guest? What about just walking around enjoying the sites? Or if there is an evening fireworks show, could I stay and watch? TIA

1. Correct.
2. You can stay and not ride.
But, you must already be inside the gates before regular closing time.
3. Fireworks are not a feature of PM EMH.

You can stay and eat and shop,but no attraction access-just be in the Park BEFORE EMH starts.

Unless you include the occasional EMH Fantasmic!(which will start 30 minutes after Park Closing and is listed on the PM EMH Times Guide) which non EMH Guests can attend.

You could say that IllumiNations (virtually) always happens during Epcot's PM EMH.

But in these kind of cases, the shows are always open to all guests, regardless.

Brilliant of Disney to do it this way. You stay in the park and spend cash and we get to ride for more hours... Then spend cash on our way out.

I just remembered there WAS a time when there WERE fireworks during Evening Extra Magic Hours!

It was just during "Spring" 2007 when they did a SECOND IllumiNations during EEMH at Epcot for those months!

It was SO cool,but I doubt we'll ever see them do that again!
