We are staying at POP in June. Our plan is to do the morning at EPCOT in Future World. We normally finish that part by 12:00 to 1:00. We are planning on going back to POP for some pool time. We want to visit the Boardwalk for part of the evening that night. I was thinking of heading back over around 6 or 7.

My question is what do when we get back to EPCOT? Is it best to just walk from the bus/parking lot over there or should we go inside and go through the International gateway? Is there a boat ride from inside EPOCT to the Boardwalk?

Coming from Pop, you might want to park at/bus to DHS and take the boat or walk to BW. Then reverse the process when ready to leave. It's a very long walk through Epcot especially round trip. There is a boat from Epcot to BW but it leaves from outside the IG. BW is the first stop from Epcot, 3rd stop from DHS (although coming from DHS you can get off the boat at Swan/Dolphin and walk to BW faster than the boat will get there).

OK, you can't walk to Boardwalk from the Epcot parking lot. You can only walk from the IG entrance/exit. You can also only boat by exiting through the IG.

After Epcot closes (typically 9 pm), you will NOT be able to enter through the IG to get back to the front of the park.

I would either drive or Uber to the Boardwalk.

You can not walk from the parking lot/bus dropoff to the Boardwalk from the Epcot lot. You would have to enter Epcot, walk through Future World to the International Gateway exit. There is a boat there that goes to the Epcot Resort area resorts on the way to DHS. Or you could walk to the Boardwalk, From the International Gateway it is a short walk to the Boardwalk.

Thanks. Not sure why I never thought about DHS. We have been to Disneyworld many times, but never visited Boardwalk.

If you haven't been yet be sure to catch the acts on the boards, magicians, jugglers etc., this guy's our favorite:

Have a drink in the Belle Vue Lounge, there's a nice 2nd floor balcony for people watching. If you're a craft brew fan stop in to Big River, they brew right there and have a seasonally appropriate selection.
