Honestly, perhaps if you didn't manage to find a way to mention that you're alone in almost every single thread, you wouldn't feel that other posters were kicking you when you're down.

I must say, I thought the same thing....why would you think you didn't have a family to share the holidays with when you have two daughters, who by all accounts you enjoy a good relationship with. Doesn't one of them still live with you? Regardless - I hope you find joy in the relationships you DO have this holiday season and all the ones to follow.

IF they are going into threads about solo trips to say "I don't know about solo trips because I'm happy married". Or threads about commercials being depressing because they depict COVID to say "Commercial with single people depress me because I'm happily married". Or... I'd agree. But I've never seen anyone who does that on a regular basis.

Pretty sure the title of the thread was CHRISTMAS commercials are depressing. I was giving my opinion on depressing CHRISTMAS commercials. Sorry it offends that others have differing view points.

I will admit I am more looking forward to the Christmas commercials this year because I am hoping we see more clever takes on the unique aspects of this year. The Christmas commercial formula has been a bit predictable that past decade.

I'm so sorry but I really haven't seen what you are saying. People should feel okay saying they are happily married just as they should say they are single as well. I do think people are saying that your, what I can only describe as melancholy, about being single, or the dating world, or trusting a relationship makes it way through all sorts of threads. While I've noticed it I've not called attention to it. I hope you don't think I'm being rude here.

That is my favorite commercial so far this season!

And the one Dan posted earlier from Etsy and the grandparents watching the kids on zoom. I want a doll of my DGS. But he can't draw yet....lol

My DBF and I both like the Hershey's commercial. When we are enjoying quality time in the evenings watching TV after work we usually Fast forward through most commercials but we watch that one.

Anyone in the Pittsburgh area? I haven't seen the Eat 'N Park tree/star commercial yet. Have you?

So far those are the only storylines I've seen. NCIS NO, NICS LA, SWAT Chicago Med , Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Greys Anatomy, Station 19, The Good Dr, so far all have had covid storylines.

NCIS LA has had 2 episodes and neither mentioned covid.

Then take 5 minutes out of your day to watch this classic. I first heard about this one on the DIS, as I don't live in Canada. I still absolutely love it and rewatch it every year.
