Good morning,
This questions has probably been answered, but I can't not find it. What is the cost of renting an ECV at the parks. My father had surgery on one of his knees (again) and it is still giving him trouble. He is using crutches and can only walk short distances. Of course he will not miss the Food and Wine Festival. He has agreed to use an EVC (thank God!). How much is it to rent one for the day at Epcot? I know we will need to get there early in order to receive one.

Thanks for any help and have a Magical Day:wizard:

ECV's are $50/day plus a $20 refundable deposit on the key, which is returned when the key is returned.

He would be much better off renting offsite, so he has it for his use the entire trip and not to have to worry about there not being any when he gets to the park.

I use Walker Mobility, a standard is $30/day, Heavy duty is $39/day and Heavy Duty extended range is $46/day. I have always experienced great service with them and the girls that answer the phone are so sweet.

Hi and :welcome: to disABILITIES!

If you click on where it says "disABILTIES" at the top of this page it will take you to the Index. One of the top items is the "disABILTIES FAQ" which will gives lots of useful information, including in Post #2 specifics for mobility and stamina and where people rent ECVs.

Or, if you want an easier route to the FAQs, click on the link in my signature.

I would also suggest your dad consider renting an ECV from an off site company. I, too, have used Walker Mobility several times over the last decade and would highly recommend them.

Where are you staying? At a WDW hotel or off site? Will you have a car or will you be using WDW transportation? Will you go to other resorts? Downtown Disney?

I agree with Princess and Judith.
The prices I get from Walker are very good and their service is fantastic!
No chair problems and always very friendly.
I no longer even consider other companies when getting my "Disney Fix"

Thanks for the responses and the welcome:goodvibes. We will be staying at Ft. Wilderness. My parents have a motorhome and we will be towing a small SUV. He will use his golf cart to get around Ft. Wilderness.:rotfl: I know he will go to Epcot and I will follow to up with him to see if he wants to go to another park or DTD.

Again thank you for the quick responses and suggestions to rent off-site.
