That's great to know you are arriving early too, and the lunch at Parrot Cay is very good (kind of puts you in the mood), we'll be doing that too, then go to guest services to fine tune anything that requires it and finally to one of the top decks to enjoy the view.

In Naples we are planning of doing Sorrento/Capri/Pompei although that is a very long day excursion; I did see Sorrento and Pompei excursion which it's not as long. Sorrento seems a very nice Italian town, maybe with this you get your Italian Fantasy and the guys will get their Italian Adventure.

We might well bump into you either at the Port or in Parrot Cay then - great minds think a like!!!

I think we might well end up booking a DCL excursion combining Sorrento and Pompeii - I do think for Steve and Kai it is the best option - but for me, I can't be that close to Sorrento and the Amalfi coast and not see at least a little bit of it!!! I have a quote from an independent company - but I think I might end up booking through Disney as I must admit I like the comfort of knowing that if anything goeswrong at least the boat won't leave without us!!!

Naples excursions: We're doing the Adventures by Disney add-on for the cruise, so most of our excursions will be taken care of through them. Our trouble comes in that they don't go to Pompeii...so on that day we're going to separate from our ABD group and do our own excursion. Seriously considering the same DCL excursion you are, Manny, with Pompeii, Sorrento, and Capri. Pompeii is the big deal to us, but I would also love to see Capri. If we could do the Mount Vesuvius hike and Pompeii that would be our ideal, but there is a minimum age of 10 and DD will only be 9.

I was looking at the ABD and thought you had to book the whole package: Cruise - Hotels - Excursions which is way above our butget. They do offer much more quality and personalized attention. Also they offered it two months ago and we alreaddy had the Cruise and hotels booked. (Our hotel in Barcelona is the same one for ABD)

The Sorrento - Capri & Pompei excursion is very long but who knows when we are going back to this part of the world so I figured to make the best of it; it will be nice to have a fellow Mouseketeer to enjoy it with. The only reason we are not doing Florence is becouse main museums will be closed so just doing Pisa.

I have read that the Mount Vesubious hike is very nice but does require very, very good fitness (I guess you are OK with that) but not for children; to extreme and they want to have some energy left to enjoy on the ship that night. Some people get sea sick on the boat to Capri when sea is a little rough. and after being on The Magic for several days with some sea motion sickness.

There were actually 3 separate things to book: you have to book the cruise first. Then the cruise add-on is a separate thing. And the pre-cruise add-on is completely separate from that. I sure do hope it's fabulous!

Flying into Barcelona on the 15th. Flight is not direct so we will be arriving via Paris. Going to spend a few days in Barcelona and then a few days in Tossa de Mar after the cruise. Have never been on a cruise before - a little nervous!

That's great; we arrive at Barcelona on the 16th by train after beeing 5 days in Madrid.

There's a pre-cruise meet on Friday 19th (not 100% confirmed) at the Barcelona Hard Rock Cafe in Plaza Catalunya around 8 pm

Regarding your comment on nervousness change it for relaxed exitement. The Disney Magic is like a small town (2500 passengers + Castmembers) which means it's a BIG ship. You and your family will have a wanderfull time and like us hooked for life. Specially now for you with sailings from NY.

I watched the NOT LIVE Webcast last night and, well; Uhumm; didn't learn anything that I didn't know. One thing for sure though; it's a really good adventure.

I'm just going to control myself (compulsive consumer ) and when I get on the ship I'll go to guest services and if they have room for Us and the cost is relatively similar or slightly higher I may do ABD for the Rome day. I guess I'm leaving it to chance.

Oh and I really really liked the Ireland Adventure so defenetly putting it in the bucket list. They take you on a Whisky taste and to a castle; then to anothe castle and to a beer taste; then they dress you up as Knight and take you to another taste of Whisky and if you can still walk with you armor they give you sample of the Whisky to take home. Well at least that's what I understood of the Irish guy that was speaking

WoW; It just hit me ! I hope we can communicate with the accents US (at least two) - Canadian - UK (at least 3) - one weird US/UK/LATAM (that would be Me) - Spanish accents. All in one room

and tipping the elbows I't going to be fun.

Changing topic; today DCL anounced that in a few days The Wander is getting new linnen and/or bed wear; just like The Dream has which it's supposed to be awsome (maybe Bats, our Dream expert, can tell us some) so here's a lot of Pixie Dust and finguers crossed for the Magic to get it very soon too; any time before the Med Cruises will be fine.

Some of you might not see it because of the hour difference but if you see my ticker today it says 3 Months - 3 Weeks and 3 Day until we are back on The Magic --> 3 - 3 - 3 Yours should have the same numbers too.
