I just got back from one and really enjoyed it. We ate a 4-course meal on campus for $5 and learned a lot about business etiquette. Made a few mistakes, but that was expected.

If anyone has the opportunity to go to one, I say do it. Not only will it make you more confident in formal dining occasions, but you will also be more competitive with other candidates.

my dad is a chef, and has worked at some great hotels and restaurants, so my whole life has been one giant etiquette dinner of great food, oh and i get it for free.

I'd second that, last semester we had an etiquette dinner, it was really fun and you do learn a lot of usefull stuff there

just got back from a banquet for Parks, Recreation, and Tourism, so I was able to use my new found skills. It was great telling everyone which glass was theirs.

Do you guys mean etiquitte dinners, like on campus at your colleges?

I'm just confused, I've never heard of them before...

FSUDisneyGirl,

they're programs in which you sit down to a multi-course meal and over the dinner they teach you the proper way to eat. They can be held on campus.
