We first went to Disneyland last summer - in July 2010 but we applied for our ESTA's a while before we went. Have been a couple of times since but are planning to go away in June next year. Does the 2 year period take effect from the date you sorted out your ESTA'a or the date you arrived on US soil?

If it is the date of our holiday last year, we should still be OK or at least DH and DD will - I need to renew my passport as it expires in April.

One thing to bear in mind is your ESTA is linked to your passport, so if you have an ESTA registered to a passport and you renew that passport you need to apply for a new ESTA , their not transferable.
