Not being familiar with alot of US sports would a Thursday be busy?

No, Thursday in February would probably be a good day to check out ESPN Club. Usually Thursdays do not have major sporting events taking place. Enjoy!

If you have other options I would suggest trying something else. We went to ESPN during free dining. The restaurant was almost empty. After the meal and service we had I could see why. I would definately suggest another place.

Just wanted to say we were at ESPN Club last Sunday and had a blast! Wings were GREAT....the nachos were excellent....and our waiter kept the beer coming! It was great to be able to watch some football while on vacation, we are huge NY Jets fans!

If you looking for typical sports bar food and atmosphere, then I say check it out.

We have been to ESPN several times before but the last time was on a big football night so it was very very busy, didn't want to make that mistake again!

The only sports that may even be on are a random basketball or hockey game, which would not attract large crowds like a football sunday. It should be pretty empty.

Hi, we go there a lot during the 3 months we are in Florida to catch Iowa Hawkeye Basketball. (I know, it's because we love em, not cuz they win a lot!!) As with any restaurant, the service fluctuates with the personality of the wait staff and the food is usually good. As noted the wings are excellent, and a friend from Wisconsin commented "best Rueben I have ever had" last year. The hot dog is HUGE and personally the I like the Mahi sandwich.

Have fun...if you like ribs, I have really enjoyed them at Big River Brewing just down the Boardwalk. For a little excercise take the walk all the way around the lake and check out the beautiful lobby at the Beach and Yacht clubs.
