ESPN...how is it?

Has anyone eaten at ESPN Club at the Boardwalk? I have a 9DS and his dad want to go there to eat. How is the food and the atmosphere there. Lunch or Dinner recommended?

My DH and I live in Orlando and even though there are tons of places to eat, my DH loves to go to ESPN. He is a huge sports fan so he loves the atmosphere and the food is pretty good. They have burgers, sandwiches, pasta, salads, etc. It is a fun place to check out, especially if there is a sporting event going on, the place can get rocking!

ESPN Club is just your basic food but the atmosphere is fun! We ate at the one on the Board Walk and the kids loved it because there is an arcade attached to it. I'd definitely recommend it but again don't expect the food to be anything out of the ordinary.

we went there..went to the baltimore one too. The atmosphere is awsome..theres no place i'd rather be than ESPN...ok well just for a quick dinner or lunch...i like the lunch time better though.

basic salads, appetizers, hamburgers but they were good and not overpriced, IMO. We went there for opening day for the NFL last Sept. It was SO much fun!!!

They were 9 and 5 1/2 at the time.
It is the one restaurant other than CM
(our Traditional 1st night meal) that
they requested for our trip in Aug.

A lot of fun but I do think it's a little pricey & can get crowded. That doesn't stop us from going there every trip though!

The food is nothing out of the ordinary, but acceptiable none the less. Atmosphere is awesome !

We ate there last week for the first time and did enjoy it. The food was good and the prices were reasonable. We got there at five o'clock and there was no wait. They have a guest speaker come in almost everynight at 7pm. This past week it was NFL players and a NFL head coach. If you call I'm sure they could tell you who is scheduled. We did want to go back before our visit was over but did not make it. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

This is a favorite of DH & DS (10) who love the food, arcade, sports atmosphere and memorabilia. I am there for the wings!

It's loud and has a pretty poor selection of beer.
Watch ESPN on TV, and go to Big River Grill instead.

We all love ESPN! The atmosphere is fun (although can get loud during games), and so far all the meals we've had here have been great. We even got take-out last year when we were hunkering down at BCV for hurricane Jeanne. It's typical "pub/bar" food: burgers, nachos, sandwiches, salads, wings. Love the reuben and the loaded nachos!

Had the best Roast Beef Sandwich there.. I can still taste it when I think about it... ESPN will be my FIRST stop in August!! In all the years travelling to Disney I had never gone there... but I did this past trip cause it was cold out and I was hungry and alone... didn't want to eat at a regular sit down place.. so I went and had a seat at the bar... Sooooo glad I did.. AND to top it off.. one of the only locations I found that served non-alchoholic beers!

We ate one lunch, one afternoon 'snack', and dinner at ESPN during out trip last month. Can you tell we like it? We love sports but even our non-sports loving friends enjoyed the fun atmosphere and the food. High ratings on WINGS (and we had a wings expert along lol) , nachos, burgers, chicken sandwich, and the roast beef sandwich. Adults who ordered the foot long hot dog couldn't finish it and fries.
