Thank you!! It stopped monsooning here finally...I'm not gonna lie, the restaurant I asked to go to is in Salem, right on the water, and I was super concerned they were gonna be closed due to flooding. :lmao:

Photobucket's working today :thumbsup2

When I left off, we were at One Man's Dream...

As I said before, this was my first time in there. I loved it! Especially the movie! I can't believe I hadn't been in there before!

After we left there, we decided to line up for Fantasmic. It was a little early, but the line was already getting long. It looked longer than it was because they hadn't let anyone in yet. The line was just on the street.

I took some pictures while I waited for them to start letting us in.

Some awesome trees and an awesome ride :thumbsup2

DSCF7792.jpg

I was standing next to this tree.

DSCF7793.jpg

I remember taking a palm tree picture for Meghan while we were in line. I know how much she loves the palm trees :upsidedow

We were in line for about a half hour, and then waited an hour for the show to start. It was a really nice night so I didn't mind. It was nice to be off of our feet ;)

It was still light out when we sat down. I've never seen this theater in the day time.

DSCF7799.jpg

The crowd to my right. We were sitting in the center. Our seats were great! It definitely pays to get there early!

DSCF7803.jpg

My camera takes horrible Fantasmic pictures. I tried, but soon gave up and just enjoyed the show.

DSCF7806.jpg

DSCF7809.jpg

At least I can get pictures of the boat :)

DSCF7810.jpg

I tried to get one on my phone to send to Meg, MeMom, and Jill, but the lights were causing a weird glare on my phone and the picture wouldn't come out. It was weird!

I really love Fantasmic. Even though getting in and out of the theater is a pain, the show is definitely worth it :cloud9:

After Fantasmic, we made our way out of the theater with the sea of people, and headed for the bus stop. One of my favorite things about staying at a Deluxe resort is the short bus line! There were only a few other people on the bus. I remember we almost always had to stand when we were staying at the All Stars.

I snapped a quick picture in the lobby on our way back to the room...

DSCF7814.jpg

We found this cute little guy when we got back :lovestruc

DSCF7816.jpg

We planned to order room service this night. I had told my mom about the S'mores cheesecake at Whispering Canyon Cafe, and she was very interested, but we figured we would be exhausted when we got back to the room and we didn't know how long it would take to get back after Fantasmic. I checked menus before the trip, and the WL room service has a lot of the same stuff, so instead of making a WCC reservation we just decided to get room service.

We both had this. Some kind of vegetable and chicken pasta. It was sooo good!

DSCF7819.jpg

They also gave us some free corn bread. I don't usually like corn bread but this was delicious!

DSCF7821.jpg

And of course, the S'mores cheesecake!

DSCF7823.jpg

I think next time we'll just go to WCC. The room service was the same food, but it was a lot more money.

That's a good place to stop. I'm officially on spring break now  so I'll have more time to update next week!

Next time: A full day at Epcot! :yay:

I always love yours and MeMom's Fantasmic pictures...I can't remember the last time we saw it. I would like to again, but the idea of waiting in that huge line just doesn't appeal to me. Maybe if we do the Fantasmic! dining package... :scratchin: I just feel like I am so much more of a Wishes girl. I don't think anything can top that for me. :cloud9:

That cheesecake looks soooooo good!! I went to Cheesecake Factory on Saturday night with some coworkers and a former coworker and I am always super conflicted with what cheesecake I should take home. And that reminded me, I forget how it started, but Katie and I send each other food pictures a lot to try and make the other jealous. Or she adds it to Facebook and tags me. So if you see Katie tag a picture of me as some kind of food on FB, now you know why. :lmao:

So excited for the Epcot update! That is my favorite park!

Great report so far. Joining in :)

Thank you! Welcome to the report :goodvibes

I hate the line but love Fantasmic :cloud9:

:rotfl: My mom is more of a cheesecake person than I am, but that was sooo good. I have a chocolate cake addiction

Friday, Feb 25

This morning, before heading out to Epcot, we had breakfast at the Whispering Canyon Cafe! I love this place! Our waiter wasn't too crazy, which was fine with us, especially in the morning  He did tell us that Epcot stands for "Every person comes out tired." :rotfl:

Our table was on the edge, looking out to the lobby.

DSCF7827.jpg

We got the skillet. Everything was amazing!

DSCF7830.jpg

This was all that was left by the time we were done

DSCF7831.jpg

After breakfast, we took the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then hopped on the monorail.

DSCF7832.jpg

DSCF7834.jpg

I think this was the day I overheard(impossible not to. She was practically yelling) this girl on the monorail. As we were leaving MK, she was talking to her dad and saying something like "Remember when we used to go to that park? The only thing I would go there for now would be Buzz Lightyear and Pirates." :confused3

Anyway, back to monorail pictures

As soon as we got into the park, I took off on another mission. This time it was for Soarin fastpasses :cool1:

I went back up the escalator and took some pictures while I waited for my mom to catch up.

DSCF7854.jpg

DSCF7856.jpg

At this point, I looked to my right and my mom was standing right next to me. I was wondering why she hadn't said anything. I looked at her for a second and said "Mom?" She almost jumped out of her skin :rotfl: Apparently she didn't notice I was there. She had come over to the railing to look for me down below and didn't notice that she stood right next to me :lmao:

Living With The Land had a short wait, so we decided to ride it while we were there.

After that we decided to go visit Figment. I know most people don't like it now, but I love the ride.

On the way there, I had to take some flower pictures. There are a lot of these from Epcot, since they were getting ready for Flower and Garden, which unfortunately started right after I left :sad2:

As usual, we pretty much walked right onto this.

Some blurry pictures.

A cute shirt that I wanted to buy, but they didn't have it in my size. I ended up getting another Figment shirt instead :)

DSCF7898.jpg

While we were there, we decided to go check out Captain EO.

DSCF7899.jpg

DSCF7900.jpg

I wanted to see it at least once as a Disney obligatory thing. It was...interesting. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it either.

We still had some time to kill before it was time for Soarin, so we went to the Seas.

But first, more flowers!

No pictures from in there because they never come out  We saw the demonstration with the diver in that tube thing. The combination of someone under water and in an enclosed space freaked me out  I went to the gift shop while my mom watched.

After that we went on Soarin' :cool1: We got lucky and the fastpass return time was around 6:30. We had lunch at Via Napoli at 2:00, but other than that we were flexible so we grabbed another set of fastpasses! We never ususally get to do it twice in a trip, let alone twice in a day! :hyper:

We left the Land Pavillion and headed for World Showcase!

At some point I took a picture of a duck.

I'll stop there for now. Next time: World Showcase! And more flowers ;)

Those Mickey waffles look very tasty at WCC ;) Which do you recommend more there- breakfast or dinner?

Lol I've heard that about Epcot before

The Pooh topiary is adorable! I love his little balloon :cutie:

I'm right with you on the diver. I'm only able to watch the diver for like 1 second - long enough to snap a picture and run.

The flowers were so pretty!
I wish we had been able to spend more time looking, but the first day of F&G was our last day. :sad1:

That skillet looks sooooo good! I feel like WCC would be one of those places that my dad would purposely try to start stuff. And what the waiter said about EPCOT is sooooo true! I could spend all my time there, seriously. I am not a huge shopper but I could spend soooo much time shopping in Epcot! Especially WS. :lovestruc

I remember you texting me after Captain EO with something along the lines of, "that was the strangest thing I've ever seen." :lmao: My iPhone kinda saves texts like a chat, so I was able to scroll back and see that. And I also saw that you wrote that marathon crowds were making the traffic crazy -- was it really bad? The dates that we are looking at are after New Years and before MLK weekend, and the marathon is January 5-8 and MLK weekend is the 13th-16th (I'm assuming Kailyn and I would be going back to classes the 17th.) I mean, we are used to spring break and Presidents' week crowds so we're not too concerned with the crowds, plus we always have hoppers so if one park is crowded, we move! I'm just curious. I might end up asking on the themes parks attractions and strategies board, too. Okay, sorry for that tangent.

I also love the Pooh topiary!! And Rabbit -- he has always been one of my favorites. Him and Goofy.

Yay for Soarin' twice!! I am actually to the point now where I can YouTube ride videos without getting really sad since I know we're probably going back in January -- Soarin' was one of the ones I watched!

We've never had dinner, but I think the food we got for room service is basically the same thing. That was really good but I think the breakfast is better :thumbsup2

I loved seeing all of the topiaries. The Pooh ones were my favorites :lovestruc

I tried to watch but it was scaring the heck out of me

I was glad we were there a week later than usual. Last year we saw a couple topiaries, but everything was almost ready for F&G this time.

I could definitely see your dad getting into trouble at WCC :lmao:

The marathon wasn't bad. It was just the traffic that one morning. The crowds weren't bad at MK that day, it just took us a little while to get a bus.

I've always loved all of the Pooh characters :lovestruc

I'm soooo sorry I haven't updated in a while. I know I mentioned my senior project a few weeks back. We had the practice presentation on Wednesday. I spent the first two days of the week getting ready for that. They run just like the real presentation, which is next month. We had a half day of classes, then seniors went home to change and eat, and then came back for presentations. Juniors watched presentations(but they don't watch the real ones), sophomores and freshmen went to the same assembly that we went to in the morning. Well, the presentation was okay. I was nervous and tripped on my words a few times, but I got a B :) But everything that could've gone wrong before the presentation did  Our assembly got out 20 minutes late, and they still expected us back at school at the same time. We got out at 11:05(it was supposed to be 10:45) and had to be in our assigned class rooms at 11:45. With 300 cars leaving the parking lot at the same time, it was a disaster :scared1: I didn't get home until after 11:15. They've been doing road construction at one of the biggest intersections in town. It's been seriously throwing off the school traffic. It's right near the high school and the middle school. Usually it takes me 3-5 minutes to get to/from school. It took me 15 to get to school that day  So it took me a little extra time to get home. So I wanted to leave my house by 11:30 to make sure I wasn't late. I quickly ate a few crackers, got dressed, then of course couldn't find the shoes I wanted to wear. I managed to get out of the house at 11:30 and make it to my presentation room at 11:43. Of course I was the first person in the room and it was after noon by the time we started  Then we were finished by 1:00...but couldn't leave until 2:11 when the bell rang. Baaaad planning :rolleyes1

So, anyway after that I was exhausted and took a 3 hour nap after school  Then I didn't sleep much last night because of the nap, so I was exhausted today and then accidently took another nap this afternoon :rotfl:

I'll try to do an update tomorrow but I may not have time. If not, I'll do it Sunday. Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, and Saturday is mine :goodvibes We're going to a Red Sox game Saturday with my cousin and before the game we're gonna meet Meghan(Megablocks) and her boyfriend Charles for lunch. A Sox game and a DIS meet! It's gonna be an awesome 18th birthday :dance3:

Happy birthday to your mom! :bday:

I can't wait for tomorrow! Since the Bruins won game 7 of the playoffs on Wednesday (I keep watching it on YouTube), they're advancing to the eastern conference semifinals, and the first game is tomorrow at 3 PM. It's a pretty big game and Charles texted me last night with "just sayin' I'll be missing the Bruins game on Saturday to meet your friend!" I told him how much I appreciated it.

I'm probably not bringing my camera tomorrow b/c it's kinda bulky and I don't carry a bag, but my iPhone takes really, really good pictures so I'm gonna get Charles to take some of us, and I can send them to Facebook. If you want I can post whatever I send to FB on here.

See you tomorrow! :dance3:

Happy birthday to your mom and an early happy birthday to you! Have fun tomorrow, hope the Red Sox win! :)

AH HA! THAT's why Remy's is all booked! People want to watch the Bruins there! I knew it couldn't be just pre-game diners cuz I went once before a Sox-Yankees game and got in without a reservation. Well if we get in there he'll be able to watch! And I'm sure it'll be on at the other place too.

That would be awesome! I'll post my pictures here too but I probably won't get to it until Sunday night.

YAAAAAY! I can't wait

Happy Birthday to mom! Hope you have a great meet tomorrow - no matter where you eat. :)
