Are the only options escape weddings or wishes weddings? I am looking to renew our vows in 2 yrs and would love a nice vow renewal ceremony and dinner for us and some family? Appreciate any input!

Yes, their is a vow renewal package just cal DFTW and let them know what you have in mind and they will help with the rest...

Glad to hear they have vow renewals! Anyone have any experience in one? Budget, how it went, what options you have. We are not planning til Oct 11, 2011. Not sure if they will even talk to me yet!

Disney treats weddings and vow renewals interchangeably, so all the info you read for Escape and Wishes weddings applies to vow renewals too. Technically, there are four options: Escape, Wishes, Couture, and Cruise. The Cruise collection is the cheapest ($2,500 on top of whatever you're paying for the cruise).

One alternative would be the Swan & Dophin, where package prices start at $2,822 for the ceremony venue, an on-site coordinator, an arch, an officiant, one bottle of Champagne, a two-tier cake, a bouquet and a boutonniere, and a violinist. Or you can pay $1,600 for the ceremony venue and the services of a wedding coordinator and then add as many or as few extras as you wish.

There are also lots of other places in Orlando where you can hold an inexpensive wedding or vow renewal, like Leu Gardens and the Kraft Azalea Gardens (in Winter Park).
