Wallyb and NCBelle your dogs are so lucky to be spoiled so much!! Although I do the same to my cats and bunnies!! My cats latest enjoyment is pizza. The eat the topping including the cheese, lick the tomato sauce off the base and then just leave the dough!!

We used to have a cat - her name was Onyx - she liked Pizza too and blueberry muffins.
Stella loved her. I think she misses her.

Ooh I want to be where you are. It's almost April here in England and April = April showers. So guess what it is doing right now?

Well I'm feeling sorry for myself today , I am full of a bad cold and had today off work, plus I phoned in sick for the rest of the week. In the 10 years I have worked at the school I have never had 3 days off and I feel really bad for not going in.

But on the up side, at least I am sick now and not in 12 days time when I am going to DLP.

I hope everyone else is feeling well today.

I just did a business trip to Canada a week ago and got to buy all the English candy -
It's not that easy to get here in Boston - and OMG (again)Yum!

When ever I do exchanges here on the Dis I always send chocolate as an extra as all my American friends love it!! What is an DIS exchange?
I know it involves the possibility of english candy - so that sounds good to me!
But what is it exactly - I've never heard of it. And thank you so much for the offer. I'll never lose that last 5 lb.!
And while we're on it - what is a stone - as in he weighs 5 stone?

A stone = 14 lbs. So when we weigh ourself we refer to stones and lbs. As in I would love to weigh 8 stone 7lb (never going to happen though!!)

As for the Dis exchanges check out the exchange board on the top of the community board. Basically you sign up for a set topic (for example I do the pin exchanges and the christmas decoration ones) then you get the name of another disser to send something to on that topic. From these I have recieved lots of goodies, this year I exchanged some wonderful christmas baubles for my disney tree! I also did the tea/coffee exchange. I revieved some wonderful WDW coffee, a Mickey thermos and a crispie treat from main street at WDW. In return my person got some wonderful twinings tea, a tin box and tea bags from harrods and a coffee cup from the tower of London.

Oh remember when you sent me chocolate and I gave you the wrong address! I still think my neighbor kept it! (or did it get returned to you much later?....it's all a blur now) Sending chocolate to the desert is a limited time opportunity...like Dec/Jan and that's about it!

I slept in a little today, which is always nice, but it's always harder for me to get going - why is that???? Having Stephanie on Spring Break has been so nice!! I love not having to rush her out of the house, I love not having to worry about homework, I love not having to worry about bedtime, it's been a nice break for both of us



Danauk - I"m sorry you're sick I'll send lots of PD your way so you can feel better real soon Thanks for the candy offer, but I'm getting fatter by the second. I even think breathing air right now is making me fatter Why can't we eat whatever we want, and not gain a pound Thanks again for the offer!!!!

Hi guys, Happy Belated Easter. Has ben a crazy week.

Dana, waht a beautiful scene for easter. I love the snow...don't hurt me SLO!! hehe

Off to Disney Sunday. Spring break for the floridians. Will be a madhouse. We are meeting friends from VA who have never been. Should be lots of fun. Hope it is not too crazy where they feel overwhelmed b/c of people

I am keeping quiet about where i am going due to the non compete.. but I will be doing a lot more traveling, looking forward to that especially since the kids are in high school. and don't want or need MOM around
The last year has been very tough..I am not one who feels good about being micromanaged especially by a 20 something. .. so more details to come...

Wallyb Again, love the animation, you are forgiven!! BTW, I had a flake bar this afternoon!!

I'm still feeling full of cold but a lot better than a few days ago. Tomorrow we have to go to Alton Towers as our AP's run out before next weekend so we have to renew. Maybe the power of a rollercoaster will help me feel better!!They are changing slightly this year and have added more attractions that we can visit including some Sea Life centres which I really enjoy (I took my class to one in Birmingham before Christmas and was planning to go back to look without the kids as I enjoyed it so much! Now I save the $50 per person enterance fee!!)

Right now I am so happy that I obsessively read these boards so much. I had booked all my dining reservations for my DLP trip 60 days ago when the dining reservations opened. I just read a thread where someone had tried to book a meal at Walts which is in the DL park on Wednesday, they day I had a reservation (with confirmation number) booked. Only they were told it was closed!! So I phoned to check, it was closed. They decided to not open the restaurant after I made my booking only didn't bother to contact me to tell me!! Luckily I was able to swap my Monday and Wednesday plans over and was able to still get both meals re booked at the times I wanted. I guess hopefully this is a sign that the parks might not be busy though if I was able to get 7pm dining reservations 10 days before hand!!
