Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

Morning Taglikins...well, this is TAX weekend for me. Can't put it off any longer, as I need the money back! :lmao: Gonna file electronically and do direct deposit, so I can get my other refund (the one from the 'current occupant' of the White House) earlier too! Should get that one the first week in May, based on my SS # and the fact that I did direct deposit on my regular taxes. :cool1:

Have a good weekend everyone.

Good evening everyone. I'm feeling much better today, my cold seems to be going which is great!! Today we went to Alton Towers to renew our AP's. We only stayed until about 1:30 though as it began to rain then and we had already been on our favourite rides, we did go in at 9am though so had a good time.

Last night I had a bit of a panic about our DLP trip. At the 60 day mark I phoned to make my ADR's. I wanted to eat at Walts restaurant which is in the DL park. The lady on the phone said it was closed Monday and Tuesday (as it is low season) so I booked for Wednesday and was given a confirmation number. Yesterday I was reading a thread on the DLP boards on the Dis and another Disser who is going the same time as me posted that she had tried to book Walts for Wednesday but was told it was closed then! So I phoned up to ask and then didn't have my confirmation number in the system and the closed days had been changed from Monday and Tuesday to Tuesday and Wednesday. So they had cancelled my reservation without telling me :scared1: (they take your phone number when you book so they did have contact info.) Luckily I was able to book for the time I wanted for the Monday instead and change my current Monday ADR at the California Grill to the Wednesday. I'm so gald I found out before we went as I would not have been happy turning up to a reservation and finding the restaurant closed!!

Speaking of my DLP trip (and I've been waiting over 2 years to say this again!!) Would any of you care to join me in a single digit dance? :cool1:  :dance3: :woohoo:

I guess I should start thinking about having some breakfast
Have a good day today everyone!!!!

Good Morning.

Yesterday we had my daughter's 5th birthday party. She had a lot of fun. I can't believe my baby is that old. In just a few months she will be in Kindergarten.

I have been having some slight heal pain that took a nasty turn this week. Turns out I have plantar fasciitis. It is not fun and I want it to go away.

I know things could be a whole lot worse, but I am really angry about it. For months, I have been walking about a mile a couple of days a week - and had recently begun walking over 1 1/2 miles four times a week. I was feeling healthier and good about my commitment to a slightly healthier lifestyle - and then I get sidelined with an injury/condition. I am at a point were a really can't even walk barefoot around the house. I bought shoe inserts and good walking shoes yesterday. Hopefully, I will be about to get back to walking in a week or two.

BlueBayou - Do you have one of those The Good Feet Store near you?
People rave how they helped them with all sorts of foot issues -
including plantar fasciitis.
Good luck with that. I know I be upset if my workouts stopped
because of illness - Not That I actually like the gym -
but I do like my new size jeans.

Thanks for the suggestion. Turns out there is one near my friend's home. I did try to go to a different fancy foot place yesterday - and I got there right at 5pm and they were already closed. I then went to Sports Authority and got some walking Nikes to tide me over until I get my fancy shoes.

Life is going back to normal today - STephanie is done with Spring Break :guilty:
Part of me is bummed out, because it was nice not having the stress of school, but part of me is glad, because I was falling behind with housework, because I kept sleeping in  So, I have a ton of catching up to do:laundy: I was going to do some catching up yesterday, but I just didn't feel like it :sad2: so I lounged around instead - it was great!!!! :)

BB - Happy Birthday to Elise!!!!! I can't believe she is five either, and I can't believe my Katie will be 5 in August - where does the time go????? You are lucky that Elise can start kindergarten this year - Katie can't, she misses the cutoff:guilty: She needs to be 5 by August 1st to start kindergarten this year.
**I understand about being frustrated with heel pain  I have a heel spur in both of my feet that I see a podiatrist about - this stopped me from running and doing other workouts. Than when all me knee problems started, that stopped all the other workouts I was doing - so needless to say, I don't workout anymore:sad2: I have had cortisone shots on both of my feet, and that helped ALOT - you should see a podiatrist and ask him/her about having this done. If you have any questions, please let me know.

To everyone else - :wave2:

Well, the shower is calling - have a good day today!!!

This is the next step, if the drugs and rest don't work. Thanks for your sympathy and understanding.

Morning..

Well the kids are home and back to scholl and crappy as ever.. IS that perpetual for a teen????? Glad they are back at scholl, as this is my last week at the old job..and I am working from home most of the weeK.. I'm taking it easy.. :)

Worked on the Eagle ppt and program yesterday. Plus I have been a shopping fool all weekend.. but I got some great bargains..

But I have a Penny's charge and lots of stuff was reduced and then a 15% discount for using the Penny's charge so.. saved lots of $$$ plus I went to Field's ( Macy's now but I still think of it as Fields) and they had lots of stuff on sale plus I had a 20% off coupon.. so I am set for now..

BlueBayou :grouphug: I hope the treatment works.. and the shoes work.. and Happy Birthday to Elise!!!!!

DanaUK.. glad the cold is better.. and   for single digits for DLP..

princess: Happy Birthday to Princess Elise!!!!!

 Danauk--- enjoy DLP.

Those flowers are from the yard of the Irish cottage that we stayed with the in-laws back in 2001. We have no flowers in bloom yet. The azealas suffered some last year so hopefully NC B. can save them.

Juat popping in quickly to say good night (I suddenly realised I hadn't posted here today and it is now gone 11pm so I should be in bed!!)
The entertainment schedule for my week at DLP was published today so tomorrow I have to finalise my itinerary, some of the parades and shows are a little later than they have been up until now so I need to adjust things.

Have a great evening everyone.

Sorry your tax is going up. Sales tax in the UK is 17.5%!! But the price on the ticket includes the tax so what you see on the ticket is what you pay. I always forget about that when I am in the USA!!

Everyone else, :yay:

Better go, I have a maths class to teach!!
