Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

Good morning everyone!! I am up at he crack of dawn again. I think it is a sign of age!!

I am meeting a gal I met on the cruise thread who lives near me. Weird thing is that we went to grade scool and MS together. She send me some pictures of when she was young and I remembered her. It is a small world. I do hope she is not psycho!! heheh poor thing needs to worry about me and all my goofyness. I will let you know how it goes.

Have a good day all

Hi all!

I am trying to get into vacation mode, but am still too busy at work!

Yesterday morning I did book a table for nine at Ariel's Grotto for breakfast on Monday. I am kind of worried about crowd levels - there are some concerned posts on the Disneyland board about crowds this coming week.

I am choosing to take it as a positive sign that I was able to get a reservation for nine on such short notice. I'll ignore the fact that I needed a table of nine because my DD8's good friend just so happens to be at the park at the same time and her family wanted to celebrate their daughter's birthday. Our daughters share the same birthday weekend.

Have a great day everyone!

I think you'll be fine. I was there on a supposedly busy saturday and there were very few wait times. We got to do a lot of things. I think it was the day before the Hannah Montana thing too. You'll have a great time. What an awesome way for your daughter to spend her birthday!

BB tell me more about Ariels Grotto for breakfast. Is that new?

Had a great lunch yesterday with my new DIS friend. She is adorble. I brought her a hatchet with a lime green ribbon tied to it so she would recognize me! heheh It was great talking with her and catching up onhe olden days!

Off to get the rugrat ready for school. TTFN

I checked out your trip to Disneyland yesterday and what cute pics!!

Have you been to Club 33 before? My sister is a lawyer and we used to go all the time. She had all kinds of hookups there. It USED to be the only place at DL where you could get an alcoholic beverage. Is that still true? It has been years since I've been to DL. I grew up in CA and it was a short jaunt into DL for the day. ahhh the memories. My fav restaurant is still the one inthe Pirates. What is that called? Loved the atmosphere.

Have a great day!

Uh, BLUE BAYOU!

You can have alcoholic beverages in DCA, but still a no-no in Disneyland.

Did you know that you can't buy a newspaper inside the park? The kiosk that is at the gate will sell you one if you are outside the park, but not inside....Walt's rule. (At least I think they still work things that way...as I never buy a newspaper anyway...but they told us this on the Walk In Walt's Footsteps tour.)

Good morning Taglikins! I'm glad it's Friday ::yes::

I WISH I could get into Club 33! :worship: Alas, i'm not that cool. My friend put himself on the waiting list though, even though they're not accepting membership for like ten years :rotfl: And it's still the only place to get alcohol. Blue Bayou has such tasty food! I love how you can see the people in Club 33 walking around sometimes while you're eating

Thanks IBOUNCE!! Yep Blue Bayou!!

my sister couldn't afford to get membership therir even if she was offered one!! She usually mooched off of people who were too busy to go. It used to be is all you paid for was lunch and the entrance to the park was free. I went maybe 4 times./ I was young and couldn't wait to get out of there and do the ride. Had I known then what I know now...

and BTW I am glad it is Friday too. The Gators play LSU tomorrow night! YES! what a great game!

Hey guys! :flower3:
Just want to post a "howdy" to you all and a happy long weekend!
My cruise is getting nearer - I can wait to get away.
Work has been NUTZ! :headache:

Hi all!

I am trying to get into vacation mode, but am still too busy at work!

Por Sher, every time she walks by my desk we so want to talk DISNEY and are both burried at work! :sad2: I bet she's there and back before I even get a chance to say: Have A GREAT Trip!

My little Sophie is not well again:guilty: .
I had to take her to the vet after work yesterday.
She was put on another mediciane, and the vet told me that if this doesn't help, that I will have to change her food. I sure hope somthing works, because the thought of having to put her through a bunch of tests just kills me:sad1: , so we'll se what happens.

Today is the FD Open House, and the kids are so excited!!!!:yay: :yay:
Stephanie actually went with Kevin last night and helped set up, and she loved that!!!! There were other FD kids there, and they all worked real hard - they even washed a firetruck. I was glad to here they all worked together so well!!!:)

Have a great day today!!!

Still packing - we thought we might leave tonight but it looks like tomorrow.

Our family from TN did not make the trip out this year for USC parents' weekend - so there was really no need to rush. Our hotel reservations aren't until tomorrow night. We thought we might drive in tonight and stay somewhere else in CA - But it doesn't look like that is going to happen.

I am excited - but we just aren't geared up for the drive yet.

Slo - I hope your dog is going okay.

Sorry I didn't check in yesterday - no time!!!

My friend, the girls, and I had a good time at the apple orchard yesterday. It was very very crowded, but it didn't ruin our fun:sad2: The only problem with that place is the cost. It cost us $15 to get in, $19 for apples, and over $30 for caramel apples and donuts - it's not a cheap day!! Oh well, we had fun though!!! :teeth:

The Open House was a HUGE success this year!!!
The person that organized it did an awesome job, and had more things for families to see and do.
Stephanie was a big helper - I was very proud of her!!!!

BB - Thanks about Sophie!!!
**Have a great trip!!!!:cool1:

Well, I'm off to work off all the donuts and candy that I ate yesterday (we went to the candy factory yesterday too).
Have a great day today!!!

Slo--I jope that Sophie is doing better.

NCBelle, how cool a last minute trip!!

So how is everyone else doing? We have 2 weeks left before we get a week off. We had hoped the inspectors would have called by now so would could have got the inspection out of the way before the week off but it does not look likely now. But that does mean I only have 2 weeks until I am in DLRP again!!

Also we spoke to our best friends this weekend about another trip to WDW. It looks like we are planning one for Christmas 2010/11 for 2 weeks. We need to save up after our last American adventure! I looked at flight prices this week and they are silly, $2000 a ticket!! We were thinking of the BCV again as that is their home resort and we really like it there. Or maybe the new Bay Lake resort, but I don't know if we would get that at 6 months before at that time of year.

Oh well, I better go, maths lessons to plan for tomorrow!!

Thanks. I should had upgraded our passes last month to an APs, but there were no plans for FL before this past weekend (was suppose to be MA...but, there were some complications).

The same thing happened to me but with DLR. I didn't renew our passes and we ended up deciding to go one weekend. Now i'm kicking myself over it!

You're going to have such a good time at DLRP! The park there looks lovely. Christmas at WDW is the best - it's so festive that the crowds never really bother me. I'm sure you'll have a wnoderful time whatever resort you choose :)

We are having such a lovely autumn in the Chicago area
It's a shame that winter is just around the corner :guilty:
I hate winter :cold:

Belle - Thanks about Sophie!!
**That's awesome about your weekend - have fun!!!!:cool1:

Danauk - That's fun about planning another trip!! I was going to talk to Kevin about taking our girls that time of year next year. I would love for them to see the Christmas decorations, and especially The Osbourne Spectacle of Lights:)

Seewhat - :wave2:

Well, I'm off - have a good day!!
