Escape to Neverland - A new Tagliarchy adventure!!

Hey Belle :flower3:

Is Jess going too?
If not :guilty: don't forget the doggy bag!

And now that our dollar is worth about the same as play money...
:rolleyes1 Thanks Bushy.

The 1st time I visited the USA in 2002 we got $1.43 to the pound (and did lots of shopping then and thought the clothes were cheap). I've ordered my $$ for our summer trip and got $2.10 to the £. I feel sorry for you guys wanting to visit the UK (but for me :cool1: )

Actually that reminds me, I need to stock up on Euros, just over a month until my next meeting with Mickey

We had a nice late lunch at Lone Star. NC Beast bought a copy of Ratatouille at Target for $10 to watch tonight. :)

We are finally home. We were at the mall for 8 hours!!!!!!!

Even though I am completely exhausted :faint: , we had a fun time.
We actually got everything the girls need for the spring except their shoes. They are completely set with shorts and tops. I was even able to get them each a few church dresses. I feel like we accomplished a lot. DH flies home late Saturday so I told them that I will take them back next Saturday morning to get shoes. Then, hopefully, we will be completely set for spring.
The mall was packed! I did get some great prices on clothes at Belk! Wow! Their sale was fantastic!!!!!! I was so happy that we hit that!:thumbsup2

Oops. ETA that I forgot about swim suits! I guess we will have to look for those next Saturday also.

Hello everyone.

We have a 5-year-old's birthday party to get to today. Yesterday we watched my friend's three kids for 4 hours.

They have two girls that our my daughters' age - and a son that is 10 1/2. My husband always feels sort of sad for him having to be stuck with younger girls. When they first got here he was just listening to his iPod. My DH got out some of his Batman movies (my DH collects superhero stuff) and they watched a couple movies together while the girls ran around the house doing girlie stuff.

There is a home for sell in across the street, three houses down. It has been forclosed upon since Sept and the price has really dropped. We looked at it for my mother on Friday. It is larger than our house, but it does not have a garage. I even without the converted garage it would still be bigger than our home. One of the drawbacks is it is having some sewer issues. I would be very nervous about that it we did not go through the same thing with our home. This houses were built in the early 60s. As long as there is not damage to the plumbing - a new sewer line is about $5,000. It also looks like one of the air conditions would need to be replaced soon.

This might be the best solution for my mom. She really does not want to move to my state, but her ability to take care of herself is decreasing significantly.

Morning

I have been working on the list for invites for Geoff's Eagle cermony.
LAst night Eric went to a dance . The girls look so much older than the guys at this age.

I saw choclate, M&Ms and tinkerbell mentioned!!! I wanna play!!!
Im flying and if its ok I wanna be blue

Geffric Stunning picture, Eric and his friend look stunning.

Bluebayou I hope you had a fun party. I hope you find a solution for your mum. I know my parents had a hard time convincing my grandma she needed to live nearer to them (and she only lived a few villages away.)

Flying babybWelcome to the tagliarchy, we are a very friendly bunch around here. If you want to stick around I'm sure RRBB will find you a blue colour from our colour wheel. I take it by your sig you have lots of pets? I have 2 cats and 2 bunnies (plus I am getting 2 more bunnies for easter!!)

Oops, I just realised I wrote mum and colour!

So today I visited my nephew for the 1st time. He is adorable!! We were there for 4 hours and he slept the whole time! Daddy said that Auntie Karen had to visit a lot as he had not slept for such a long time before! I did cuddle him for a few hours though (a huge breakthrough for me, I have never held a newborn before, I am so scared I would hurt them, the whole floppy neck thing! But I figured it was family so I conqured my fear and loved it!!). The Disneyland Paris advert came on the TV a few times whilst we were there so I told him that one day when he was older Auntie Karen would take him there and I pointed Mickey Mouse out to him! Start them on Disney young I say!! OK maybe 5 days old might be a little too young!!. My SIL laughed!! Pete has told me off already for spending too much money on clothes for him. But have you seen how cute the baby clothes are in the Disney store!!

OK proud Auntie talk over! I did take some pictures but they are on the other laptop (the new one I am on right now won't recognise my digital camera for some reason!) I'll share a pic tomorrow.

Well I hope everyone has had a nice weekend.

 OMG! This girl is in high school!
She looks like she should cold be a cocktail waitress in Vegas.
I don't mean that as some kind of a slam I'm just saying -
Wow, she dose look sophisticated for her age.
I think I'm getting too old.:guilty:

Any treats for Jess from Lone Star?

Your not getting old WallyB just think that she is a freshman is high school to boot..

It is so amazing how the boys just don't look as old as the girls.. could be the maturity thing. And he is not mature enough to really appreciate her yet.. :confused3

DanaUK - glad you got to hold the baby. They are fun to hold and just stare at them.. and BTW 5 days is not too young to start on a love for the Mouse.. ;) nope.. seems just about right to me.;)

Welcome flying_babyb.. we have been tame of late but soon we will have one of the famous chocolate parties..with lots of Chocolate 'tinis and M&Ms and chocolate beer and wonka bars and chocolate wine and ghiradelli chocolate chip chocolate brownies and ... hmm... It is so hard to believe that she is a freshman. One of our nephews looks similiar to Eric at that age and he had two mature looking dates for some dance last year or maybe 2 years ago. If I recall, he has not taken 2 girls out to a dance at the same time since that time. I usually don't hear about the different nephews' dating fun except for that dance.

Hey... I like it when you write mum and colour... it helps me invision what you actually sound like!

I am very glad you got to visit with the baby. I sound like you all had a very nice time.

:surfweb:

TLH - How was your all day shopping spree on Saturday? Did you get anything good?:)
**I just read your post about your shopping. I'm glad that it was so successful :yay: I'm always so nervous to buy my kids clothes this early, because I fear they'll start to grow out of them (their sizes never change that much, but I'm still paranoid:confused3 ). Have fun shopping next Saturday again!!!

wallyb - You put your Vitamin C in water? I never heard of that  I will have to try that, because I just pop it in my mouth and chew it up:upsidedow

Danauk - I didn't realize you SIL had to have a C-Section (if you mentioned that, I'm sorry  ). I almost had to have one with Katie, and luckily, it worked out, that I didn't have to - but the entire surgical team was literally waiting for me - very scary!!!!!
**How was your visit with your new nephew? I bet he's adorable!!!! :cloud9:
**I just read you post about your nephew, and I'm so glad you had a nice visit, and that you conquered your fear of holding a newborn baby:) I'm always nervous to hold other people's newborns, but I was never afraid to hold mine  Maybe it's because I was always nervous when other's held her:upsidedow

NC Belle - I've never eatin at a Lone Star, but we do have one sorta close to us. We need to try it sometime :)

BlueBayou - Good luck on making a decision about that house.:wizard: Luckily, we have tons of duplex type places in my town, where you pay maintence fees to have all your outside work done for you. When my parents can't live in their house anymore, that's where they will go (my mom's already said this). Do you have anything like this in your area?

geffric - That's a very nice photo of Eric and his date. I can't believe that she's a freshman - holy cow!!!!! I gotta say, my girls would not be wearing a dress like that when they are freshmans:sad2: Way to low cut - I want NO cleavage showing at that age:sad2: (can you tell I'll be very conservative with my girls - but I can't help it)

flying babyb - WELCOME to Neverland!!!!!!!
Please come by often and visit - we would love to get to know you!!! :goodvibes

Well, it's time for me to get ready for work
Have a good day today everyone!!!
