There seems to be a looming epedimic of the dreaded Addonitis disease! Hopefully everyone who needs a vaccination against this dreaded disease gets one. I got one and I hope it works, so long as I stay away from BLT and even more so, the THVs. Stay safe.

Hey I thought I got through my illness in Aug. and all that helped was a good old whopping dose of ADD ON......AKV DID THE TRICK.

I started to come down with it, but a few minutes with a calculator and the BLT point charts "cured" me, probably for good!

Less than 4 months ago, we were renting from a member.............and had not EVEN discussed buying ourselves. Now we own at AKV and already did an add-on at BLT
I really think it all started from a really nice DVC member that my wife met in the elevator who asked if we were members. He then told her that it was the best thing he had ever done. If he only knew what he started.......

I have been immune to "addonitus" until I heard about the Treehouses...now I am scouting for a cheap SSR resale contract!

I'm infected. We started the paper work for our first add-on today, 250 @BLT.

Unfortunately one sure cure for this disease is 2 kids starting college within the next 3 years. Like a bucket of ice water instant cure..... but afterwards all bets are off.

We have the same situation. My dd who has been touring colleges and all that since last year, just informed us that she is thinking of going to community college (CCM) for the first two years as she has no idea what she wants to do. She's hoping to figure it out and then transfer. She feels it doesn't matter where you go, just where you graduate from.

So, we're sitting in the kitchen, I'm being supportive and discussing her options but all of a sudden in the back of my mind pops "oooh more money for dvc."


I'm a bad person.

I would think that same thing. MY dd is starting college in fall 09 and all we keep thinking is "major scholarship baby" so not to take too much away from our future DVC trips. I am sooooooooooo bad. LOL

Price/charts did at least put off the inevitable for us. It did make me think about picking up one of those value priced contracts at SSR or maybe even HHI or buying more home BWV so that we could use our points at BLT.

Sounds like us. We owned our DVC for 9 years, but haven't added on yet. I'm thinking that those Treehouses will end our ability to hold out.

I got the fever and the only prescription wasn't more cowbell, but 200 more pts at AKV.

I've heard of migranes happening around dues time but am trying to build up my immunity by going 3 times in the next 12 months to stave off any possible reoccurrence.
