So, I splurged and booked the VIP experience for Epic. I have done the two-park VIP twice. But, I called and found out some more info -- in case anyone wanted to know. Or, if anyone else knows other info, please share!
* Just like other VIP tours, the price depends on date of tour and how busy the parks will be. This is a four-hour tour (so, like the one-park tours, but those were not as popular in the past and I have not done one). No breakfast and lunch offering. For now, the tour is starting at 9 am. The Team Member said to get there 15 minutes early (they told us to be there earlier for the longer two-park tour because breakfast was offered).
* She also said that they average around 8 rides during the tour and they prioiritize Ministry of Magic and Mine Cart Madness since those do not work with Express Pass, but that Dragon Racer's Rally will likely NOT be on the tour because it is "so short."
* You do get Express Pass for the rest of the day (only for one ride each for those rides that DO take express pass).

I know you get some other perks I will likely not use -- like valet parking. A discount on select merch as well, but I have an Premier AP, so not sure if that adds anything to me personally.

You also should know you ALSO have to buy a separate tickets on top of the VIP experience.

I did hear on one youtube on the Dis that during their VIP tours, they missed some of the queue (which I figured). But that Monsters Unchained, the queue is apparently amazing, so hoping with express, can see some of it. The Ministry of Magic queue also looks amazing so hoping we can see some of it at least.

My son and I absolutely LOVED the tours we have done (as I said, two VIP experiences for Universal/IOA and also a Christmas tour -- can't remember what it was called). They do such a fantastic jobs with these, I'm really looking forward to this. Hope other folks will tell us about their experience once they start happening!

Thanks for sharing the details you've learned!

We splurged as well, but am hoping to learn more and see some reviews before deciding if we will keep it. The cost was $650 pp for the second week after opening. It helps to know they will prioritize the rides not on the express pass.

We've done a shared VIP tour at Universal Hollywood and really enjoyed it. But that was a lower cost and we got more time, breakfast/lunch, and the backlot tour.

Mine was a bit cheaper but I will also be melting in July. If you keep it, let me know how it goes!

Yes, please keep us updated. I couldn't quite bring myself to do the VIP, so we purchased Express. But we are going in August and only have one day at Epic, and I am already scared of the oppressive heat and humidity combo. My husband and daughter will power on with no problem, but this Meno Mama isn't quite agile or resilient as she used to be :-)

the pricing for the shared 4 hour VIP & the 8 hour Private VIP are vastly different in pricing.
the private 8 hour tour starts at a minimum of $5,110 for 5 people, and can take up to 12 @475pp

private 8 hour:
you get breakfast/lunch/dinner
3 day photo pkg for the whole group ( one one account - but everyone has a card to it)
unlimited express pass for the rest of the night

IF you have more in your group than 4, ( the shared VIP group) they will split you up in different groups, as they only take 8 in the shared group. that is because its a vote in the group where you want to go, if you have 6 & then 2 join the group you will always override the decisions, they want equal voices.

> the 4 hour groups are so far $400 - $650 pp & only breakfast & lunch

from the videos I have seen your lunch break is an hour in that time you have, & if you have the private tour they suggest wating till the tour is over to go to dinner.

no breakfast or lunch with the 4 hour tour. There is an 8-hour shared tour for IOA and Universal that does include breakfast and lunch.

Yes, this.

The Epic VIP Experience does not include any meals.

We have done the 2-park VIP Experience 3 times and you do get more bang for your buck, than the Epic VIP Experience. However, I still booked it for our November trip because we only have 1-day at Epic and probably won't be back for over a year, so I thought it was worth it.

I too am waiting patiently for firsthand reviews of the Epic VIP Experience tours... popcorn::
