Epic Universe motion simulation rides: How bad are they?

I would love to hear from those who have done the previews how bad the motion simulation rides in Epic Universe are for motion sickness and vertigo. I see that the 3 main flagship rides (Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge, and Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment) are all Motion Simulators.

I can do:
  • Expedition Everest (my absolute favorite ride)
  • RnRC
  • The Mummy
  • Soarin
  • Avatar FOP

I cannot do:
  • Simpsons
  • Spiderman
  • Guardians (this took me out the rest of the afternoon)
  • Forbidden Journey
  • Mission Space (could not do green, unlikely I would be able to do orange)

I can do Gringott's if I close my eyes at certain moments, but I don't love it.

I haven’t been yet, but from what I’ve read, is that Monsters Unchained has a similar ride vehicle to FJ but it’s supposed to be smoother.
Battle at the Ministry has a ride vehicle similar to ToT but the ride is more similar RotR.
And for Mario, you don’t have to wear the 3D glasses but the images will be blurry.

I think with the new screens is not as much of an issue.

One streamer who has issues with some of the rides at the other parks had some issues with Ministry but thinks it will be fixed as they tweak it. No issues with monsters or Mario.

Obviously it can vary by person but sounds like as the technology gets better is less of an issue

I didn't get a chance to ride Ministry, but for the other two rides:

Mario Kart
You pick up a visor along the queue, then snap on the glasses once you're seated in the kart. The glasses are tethered to the kart. I don't think you can see the targets without the glasses. So if you don't want to play, you can sit on the kart for a nice ride.

(Cont'd)
I thought the targets were annoyingly blurry on Mario, but it could be the way the visor sat on my head.

Monsters
Similar movements to Forbidden Journey, but maybe not as abrupt (?). The scenes are mostly props. The screen parts are very clear.

Yeah - I had a similar issue the first time I rode it - I do find the glasses themselves a little annoying - I also did not realize the first time you have to look down to see your score (to be fare I only did single ride and missed the preshow every time)) - and if they are not on your head exactly right its also annoying.
I found the lower I wore them on my face the better.

Feel like I need to note that these really aren’t motion simulators, there’s a LOT of motion in some cases, they just also have screens.

I'll go sans headwear next time. It may turn out to be a cute relaxing ride without playing.

I took that from the Uni website. That’s how the describe these rides and other rides that have both screens and movements (e.g, Spiderman, FJ).

Yeah ummm… that’s a bit weird IMO. I’d describe Star Tours as a motion simulator, I guess due to screens there’s a perception of faster movement in something like Forbidden Journey, and there’s a bit of that in Mario Kart at some points too. Would describe it as a dark ride with motion simulation features. Cant speak to the others but I think MK could cause issues. Surprised you can handle FOP, that’s one I would describe as a proper motion sim and it’s one that causes issues for me.

I wish they would get rid of the 3-D glasses on Gringotts like they did with Kong. I'm one of those people who could never view through the glasses correctly.
