We are staying at BWV in mid May but plan on doing a bit resort hopping. We have never been to Caribbean Beach and want to explore it a bit. What is the best way to get from BWV to CB lobby? I was looking at the Skyliner from Epcot, but It looks like a long walk through either RIV or through the west side of the resort and across the island. Many Thanks in Advance.

You have some options. Ride the Skyliner to the Riveria, visit the Riveria, and cut through Martinique to Port Royal or ride to the CBR Skyliner stop, and catch the Internal CBR bus from the Skyliner entrance around to Port Royal.

Thanks!

You could also walk/boat to Hollywood and take the Skyliner there. It’s a shorter run on Skyliner than the Epcot line.

I did it once… We found the walk from Riv shorter. Either way it is not a short walk maybe a walk from BW to England in EPCOT with no hills. Definitely shorter then the walk to HS.

Swing by Banana Cabana and have a drink while there.

Great spot right by Barefoot Bay.

And great views of the high fireworks from Epcot if you are there at night.

It's not a long walk. Exit Skyliner at Riviera, walk through the tunnel with the incredible mosaics, walk around the lake passing the Riviera pool and your next stop is CBR Lobby. Banana Cabana is an all-time favorite!!

Personally, I would take skyliner to RR and check it out and then walk over to CBR, walking around the resort(s) is how you "explore".

Agreed. This is what we will probably do. DW has an injured ankle so trying to minimize the walking without an ECV. Things I have learned from this thread is: There is an internal bus at CBR Walk is not that bad from RR and Uber/lyft may not pick you up without dining reservations. The last one surprised me a bit.

Gotta love these boards. You can count on somebody at sometime has experienced what you want to do. Much wisdom here! Thanks everyone.

Not quite. The concern for Uber/Lyft is that they are often not able to drop you off at resorts without you having an ADR. It is all up to the guard at the resort gate.

We have never had an issue with a resort pickup by Uber/Lyft.

Thanks for the update. Makes more sense.
