We leave in a little over a week for my son's third birthday and our first trip to Disney as a family. We are spending 5 nights and have 4-day tickets without park hopper. The first day, we are going to AK, second MK, third Epcot, and fourth (DS birthday) MK. I am now second-guessing myself and wondering if we should do HS instead of Epcot. I love Epcot and my DH has never been to Epcot. I am just trying to decide if it would be good for DH. He is 42" so he can ride a lot of the rides. Please help!

Well there is probably more for him to see and do at HS...Toy Story Mania, Disney Jr LIVE!, Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area, lots of good character meets for boys...Mike and Sulley, Goofy, Wreck it Ralph, Disney Jr characters. Plus if you're on the Disney Dining Plan you could do a lunch at Hollywood and Vine with the Disney Jr characters.

At Epcot there is the whole Nemo section with the aquariums, the Nemo attraction and Turtle Talk with Crush. He would probably enjoy Spaceship Earth, but might be too short for Test Track, Soarin, etc. In World Showcase he would like the Gran Fiesta Tour, but there may not be much else in the countries that he would appreciate yet.

Does he like the Disney Jr shows? If so, I would do DHS with a breakfast or lunch at H&V - the character interaction there is excellent! He'd probably also like the Disney Jr Live show and meeting the characters around the park, plus TSMM. We went with my (just turned)4 yo last year, and he loved DHS.
