I need advice, I will be traveling with my 2 year old and my mother (my husband does not like Disney :confused3 ). We are just doing 5 nights, 4 park days. 2 days will be MK, 1 day AK and now I can not decide between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. We are going in the summer and I will be 7 months pregnant, if that makes a difference towards a decision. Thanks:)

If you don't mind the walking, I would do Epcot. If too much walking is going to be an issue, go HS.

I think the adults would enjoy EPCOT more for World Showcase, but not sure you could ride any of the rides. HS does have several shows and meet & greets the younger crowd would enjoy. Plus there is Toy Story Mania which is lots of fun. I guess I would probably vote Hollywood Studios. :thumbsup2

You could always try both? The boat will take you from Hollywood Studios to Epcot's International Gateway a vice-versa. Maybe go to HS for a few hours in the morning and Epcot for a few in the afternoon or evening depending on your 2 year old. Have you ever been to either?

I have been to both multiple times, but this is my son's first trip! I had originally planned for Epcot as I love drinking...errr walking around the world, but seeing as though I will be 7 months pregnant that is a no go. I then started contemplating HS, especially for all the character meet opportunities. Then I think, how much I love nemo, Epcot, but wonder if summer heat, 7 months pregnant and all that walking will be fun. I got really swollen feet early on with my son...choices, choices

Well given your son's age and the fact you can't drink I would pick HS. More characters, more rides he can do enjoy, and as you said World Showcase isn't much fun if its hot, your pregnant, and can't drink. Have fun on your trip!

Since you will be pregnant and your son is so young I would go with DHS.

You can always get your Nemo fix with the musical at AK. There will be more for him to see at DHS and most importantly less walking for you!

I'm thinking EP, but FUTURE WORLD more than WS. There are a lot of things in each pavilion for your 2 yr old to just wander in and out and enjoy, plus they're air conditioned for you. You can still wander back to WS for dinner if your feet will allow or there's the Friendship Boats to take you to the back of the lagoon.

Both of my kids have always both liked Epcot way more than DHS. That dates back to when they were 2 and 1 and remains true now that they are 7 and 5. If you do Epcot, I would limit yourself to Future World plus Mexico and Norway. There is enough there to fill a day without doing too much walking, plus a lot of it is inside (especially important in the summer in Florida).

My kids have always like the following from a young age:

Mexico boat ride (plus playing with maracas in the shop there)
Coloring at the Kidcot stations
Innoventions (there is a lot to play with to keep young ones occupied)
Spaceship Earth (plus the games at the ride exit)
The Seas with Nemo and Friends (the ride plus looking at all of the fish)
Turtle Talk with Crush
Imagination
Living with the Land (they've always loved this ride)

If you are still up for more, take the Friendship boat from Mexico to Germany. Let your kid watch the trains in Germany for awhile. Slowly stroll from Germany to Morocco and catch the Friendship boat back to Canada. My kids have always like the O Canada movie.

I love Epcot... but if I'm being honest, when I have my DD's (6&3) Epcot is a half day park for us. They don't really enjoy WS, My 6 y/o is starting to get interested but not my 3 y/o. I think if I were you I'd do HS first with TSMM and some great character meet n greets for little ones. Then if things went well and he was still able to enjoy more fun I'd do the evening at EP. That way it is cooler, and maybe DS would enjoy the fireworks.... if he makes it that late.
