Epcot or Animal Kingdom

Interesting thread...When we went to Disney World last time we had the exact same dilemma and selected Epcot as for us, there seemed to be more things that interested us (i.e. we skipped AK). Our kids, 9 and 6 at the time LOVED Test Track, and also had a lot of fun on Soarin, Nemo (the turtle talked to my daughter ), Spaceship Earth, Figment (so funny and there is an interactive part post ride) and Nemo. We spent 1.5 days there and missed a bunch. Epcot is one of the parks we are repeating for our next trip. Fireworks were amazing too. It's a different show now but can imagine the same.
Haven't been to AK yet so can't compare them (but it is one of our parks for our trip in August).

Hard to choose just one, but Epcot is better with the # of rides for your 4 year old. Many are slow moving but lots to see as you go through them. My son loved Epcot at that age. Also, you can spend a lot of time at the Seas with Nemo in the aquarium and play area. Coral Reef is a restaurant within the aquarium. World showcase is good for the stroller if your youngest will nap in there, plus there are 3 rides that are in that area of the park. He also enjoyed watching the model trains in Germany. A bunch of the rides like Spaceship Earth, Figment, and Test Track have interactive play areas.
Animal Kingdom is also great, but if your kids are into rides you may run up against more height requirements for your youngest there. My son loved the Boneyard as others had mentioned but it was very difficult to track him there.

Hi,

We are planning a November trip which is more than just DIsney but our plan for Disney is four days. We wont be purchasing park hoppers as this is our first trip so want to keep it as straight forward as possible. So far we have two days MK planned and one day HS. Our boys will be 7 and 4.

I am not sure you can purchase a park hopper for just ONE day? If not, we are not sure if we would do Epcot or Animal Kingdom?? I don't have thoughts on either one since HS and MK has been our big focus.

Thanks!

Animal Kingdom, hands down! It is our favorite park of all of them. There is so much to see and do, and every part is different. The animals are great to see and the food is good too (or at least it used to be). The imagineers did a wonderful job of immersing you in each and every corner of the park. It is amazing.
Epcot to us is a 1/2 day stop; just not our thing.
