Epcot 'living statues' questions

Which country are the living statues in and are they in an obvious area? I couldn't remember if it was Italy or France. Also, are there only out at a certain time, and if so, is it posted on a schedule somewhere?

The Living Statues have been moved to Italy now. I found the schedule ON THIS SITE

Hi Laura. There is a schedule posted in Epcot; I'm not sure if it's available anywhere else.

And from what I remember, they are marvelous and located in France. My partner can't wait to catch their act again and apparenly we are only going to have to wait nine more days!

We loved Imaginum last year. I think their performances were among our best memories of the trip. Of course, it was fun getting in on the act. I got to dust one of them. Maggie

Viki, they've completely moved to Italy now. Like the other posters have said, the act is titled Imaginum and will be listed on the schedule they give you when you come in. Enjoy your trip and watch them for me! Nine days will fly by!

A little off topic, but still...does anybody else think the girl is way better than the guy? I've only seen him once, but she's SO wonderful (must have a ballet background to move like that) and he's good, but not compared to her. If that makes sense. I'd still watch him though, since I LOVE that show!

I've seen the lady twice - there's a guy that does it too? What a great time they are! It's fun to just watch the people that watching the act! Here are my pics with her - you can see the story unfold.

I didn't see the guy, but noticed on our last trip there are two different girls that are the "statue". The one in your picture was the second of the two we saw. The first one was better - much more interactive and imaginative with the guests.

They looked similar, but there were noticeable differences in face structure.

I had the man statue in Italy last October, when it was my turn
to go up to him. He turned my head to face him slowly and pull
my face towards him like he was gonna kiss me, his face was so
close to mine I could feel his breath, then he turned his face and
pointed to his cheek for me to kiss him on the cheek, my hubby
got it all on video, we have had a few good laughs watching it.
They are so talented.

This was a big hit on our last trip. We just happened upon the show, and were captivated. We planned to return on a following night. Unfortunately, it was very cold that night, so she was only out for a few minutes. We did get some pictures, though. She stole my boyfriend, and shooed me away. I told her she could have him.

Imaginarium will always be a favorite for our family. When we went to WDW in early 2003, my youngest daughter was just 7 months old. No one around the statue was willing to go up, so my husband went up with my infant daughter. The statue took my baby and held her for at least 5 minutes and refused to give her back to my husband. She even turned around on the podium, so as not to face my husband. Fortunately, I kept taking pictures and they are absolutely priceless! My daugher was apparently entranced with this white goddess and even received a white kiss on the cheek when the statue relented and gave her back to us. It was a neat moment.
