I am going to a work conference next week. One day, we will get park tickets and will go to Epcot in the afternoon. We won't get the tickets in advance, so we can't get advance FP reservations.

Here are my questions:
1) Where can we go to get FPs when we get there?
2) If we have, say, 8 people, how do we all get FPs together?
3) What should we get FPs for?

How would you spend your time in Epcot in the afternoon with a group of all adults? I could really use some help.

Edited to add - Soarin' will be closed.

I'll give it a shot in no particular order addressing your questions. But first, are you staying onsite or offsite? And the only reason I ask will determine the entrance strategy [ie. IG vs. front entrance]. IMO the only FP you would really need is for TT which may be a tough ticket to come by on the same day. If it was me, I would spend an afternoon in World Showcase and exploring the countries. Maybe prior to that you could do Spaceship Earth or the Living Seas for a change of pace. There are plenty of food and beverage options in WS that may be fun for the group and possibly a set [or two] of British Revolution in UK if they're playing the day you're there! You'll have fun no matter what you do!

Thanks! We have reservations at Biergarten. We're staying on-site, but it's at CSR so we'll be coming in the main entrance. We don't really have our hearts set on doing any particular thing; we just want to browse and enjoy some fresh air after sitting all day at the conferences.

TT will probably be the only ride you might even need a FP for, it has a single rider line so you can all get in that as long as you understand you will be separated and don't try to talk the CM into letting you stay together. I agree, go over to WS and just wander around, it's a grown ups paradise.

Sounds like a blast! WS is especially enjoyable with adult groups.. As stated by PP, you can start your afternoon on the FW side so you can enjoy at least one or two attractions, IMO Spaceship Earth is a must for any Epcot visit and then you could select one other attraction such as TT or Living with the Land.. In regards to FP+, to be honest, I wouldn't count on being able to get a FP+ due to the fact that not only will it be same-day but you have a very large group, it will also take time to link all of your tickets together on the in-park kiosk so you are able to reserve the same FP+ times as a group, some group members may not be willing to stand around and wait while you do this..

With the above said, I wouldn't spend too much time in FW as your goal should be to have the most time possible at WS.. Once you head over to Biergarten for your ADR I would plan on spending the remainder of the evening on the WS side. You can enjoy some adult beverages with your fellow group members and then stay until Illuminations for a closing treat! Hope this helps! :)
