Ouch. The only event I wanted, the 9/27 Italy F&W Pairing, is sold out.

Thanks for the sympathy...my own fault really. Too darn impatient to go through all those silly prompts. I'll take solace in the fact that we are going to V&A on Friday so I'll drown my disappointment in wine and good food then!

That sounds like a great place to drown your sorrow. In fact, I would definitely choose V&A over the wine pairing any day!

I've just spent a half hour, long distance from the UK, to book the PFTS for 11 October based on the excellent recommendations I got from everyone on this thread.

The only problem is, I forgot to ask her what happens now! Do I get tickets in the mail ahead of time or do I have to check in somewhere on the evening and they locate me that way? Does anyone know so I don't have to ring back and blow more of my Disney spending money on my phone bill?

I scanned that from the front of the F&W brochure that I got in the mail on Friday. I thought it was cool too.

You will check in at a kiosk/podium right outside the World Showplace that evening. No tickets.

No Tickets, just take your photo ID and your confirmation number with you to the party. There is usually a place outside the concert and outside the venue which serves the food/drinks for you to pick up a wristband, plate, glass, etc. Have a great time and a safe trip!

I'm done. I got right in this morning and booked our PFTS and Sweet Sunday. Not doing any other F&W events this year, but we'll be doing Citricos Chefs Domain and V&A's Chef's Table this December, so I can't complain. Good luck everyone!

Just keep track of your confirmation number. If you somehow forget it, and you're staying at a Disney resort, the cast members at the front desk can print your confirmation for you. Otherwise, the Guest Relations at the parks should also be able to do this if you're staying offsite.

When you arrive to the World Showplace (betwen the UK and Canada pavilions), there will be a person checking in all the guests, issuing their wristbands. Just give your name and you'll be ok. But in case they spelled your name wrong or somehow did something wonky like that, the confirmation number will help.

Just when I thought I couldn't be more excited about the trip, this has ramped it up a fair few notches!

We went three years ago during the F&W festival, but I didn't have the benefit of the DISboards back then so didn't know what we were missing!
