Epcot dining on September 13 - 16th - Nothing all day at Garden Grill or Coral Reef

Today was my 60 mark and I got basically everything I wanted BUT for some reason nothing in the front half of Epcot shows up at all for the 15th...no Garden Grill, no Coral Reef. Is this a bug or is something going on in the front of the park that day? Anyone heard anything or having the same issue?

Interesting - let me know if you find something out about that. I'll be in Epcot that day as well - my booking window doesn't open until 7/15, so I haven't yet seen availability. If something is happening that is closing off part of the park for part of that day, I may move my park reservations around (I arrive on the 13th, and was planning DHS, then AK, then Epcot, then MK currently).

I figured I would call when I got home from work, which was just now, and they are seeing the same thing. There isn't any availability on the 13th - 17th for breakfast, lunch or dinner at both Garden Grill and Coral Reef. The only thing she could think of was if the Eat To The Beat packages were affecting availability but she didn't think that was likely. There were no notes about anything else that would make them both closed. I think it is a glitch of some sort myself so am just going to keep checking back. Good luck!

Thanks for the update. I'm still 3 more days from being able to book, so hopefully it is just a glitch. Even if I don't try to make reservations at those spots, I wouldn't want to find out a private or special event is blocking off parts of the park that day...I've had that happen before, so I try to avoid it if possible (even planning MK visits around the holiday event nights - if you're not intending to attend the MVMCP or MNSSHP, going to the park on those days means shorter park hours. Years back, DHS used to allow corporate conferences to rent out the park after hours, which resulted in the park closing earlier to prepare.

If you spoke to Disney and they didn't make any mention of special events, then I'm fairly hopeful. I mostly just need dinner reservations as I usually do breakfast in my room and quick serve for lunch.

My answer is not at all related to Epcot on your date in question but just Disney ADRs in general. Our last trip was in November 2022, the week of Thanksgiving specifically. We were able to book everything that we wanted for our entire stay except for breakfast at Boma on our checkout day which was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. For context, we were arriving the Thursday prior to the holiday so this was not early in the trip. But it was the same as what you are seeing, there was no availability for any mealtime for several days toward the back end of that trip. We just kept checking and, if memory serves, it took a week or two but one day times just opened up but when they did there were ample options for us to pick from.

I might try snagging something else just in case, unless you would rather do QS, but in my experience this sort of thing happens at Disney restaurants sometimes. Good luck and enjoy the trip.

Thanks for the update! I definitely booked the back up plan and I think it may turn out better overall anyway. I'll keep my eyes on it though. Thanks for the info!

Known bug. Restaurants, especially affecting EP for some reason, will fail to load random dates, phone CMs cannot do anything about it. Keep an eye on them, they will eventually open.

Yes, this was also happening with Narcoossee’s for over a year. Several weeks at a time were being loaded randomly after the usual 60 day mark. There were lots of posts & questions about it. We had 3 trips during this time & there were never any ADRs available on my booking days. A few weeks after my adr date for each trip I was able to get the dates & times I wanted. We have a trip in September, made my ADRs last week & was expecting the same thing. To my surprise, Narcoossee’s was available every night of our trip. You just never know with Disney’s systems.
