Epcot & Beaches & Cream

Just so you know, B&C now has breakfast from 7:00 to 11:00, so it's not as easy getting a table for lunch at 11:00, because there are already people there. We stayed at the Beach Club last week.

Ah, thanks for the heads-up Tekmom. I remember reading that now that you mention it. Do you get a beeper or anything so you can wait in the area near the pool or isn't there also an arcade nearby? I wouldn't mind sitting by the pool with an icy beverage but DS6 would probably prefer the arcade while waiting.

thanks!

we did B&C (for the kitchen sink;)) last year, even at 3 we had a good 1 hour wait, but yes, they give you a beeper, we played in the arcade which i 30m or so from the entrance, i couldnt believe how tiny it was (the restaurant not the kitchen sink:rotfl2:)
we made the mistake of have a light lunch before - go very hungry - even 5 of us struggled, 4 of them are ice cream addicts.
It saved me money however cause after that they no longer asked for ice cream til the end of the holiday:lmao::lmao:

We are spending a day at Epcot in August and I thought it would be fun to take my kids to Beaches & Cream for lunch. Is this doable by walking. I heard the entrance to B&YC is near FutureWorld? Is that right. Are we wasting time doing this in the middle of the day. Or would we be better to go in the evening? Thanks! :goodvibes

Walking there is a cinch. Go through the international gateway, which is located between France and the UK in the world showcase -- not Future World. I think lunch is a great idea, but I'd go either early or late, not during primetime lunch hours. As PPs have said, it's small and can get quite crowded. I would save dinner for an entertaining restaurant in Epcot...at Coral Reef you can dine with the fishies, at San Angel Inn in Mexico you can watch the boats go by, and at Garden Grill in The Land the restaurant actually rotates and overlooks the Land ride.

Have fun. And will you be daring enough to order the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream?!?!

Beaches and Cream is a very short walk from Epcot's World Showcase. You won't be exiting from Future World, but through the International Gateway. From there, just follow the path until you hit the Beach Club. Beaches and Cream is by Stormalong Bay.

We stayed at the Beach Club last summer (before owning DVC there!) and we fell in love with it, especially since our favorite park is Epcot. It is such a short walk!
