Epcot 4th of July fireworks?

Are there special fireworks after illuminations on July 4th,
or is it just the usual illuminations fireworks?
We are trying to decide if we should be in Epcot (have PS at rose/crown for 8pm) or watch the MK fireworks from our hotel room at the CR.
We have seen the special fireworks at MK before at christmas time when they shoot them from all four sides of the park, and we have seen illuminations many times also.
Just wanted to know if Epcot does any thing a little different.

Yes, Epcot does the regular Illuminations followed by a special July 4 encore, which is spectacular.
