Anyone have one of these? What are the car rental coupons like? What about the online membership? Any good?

We buy one each year since our school's PTO dies it as a fundraiser. We love the book but have never used the coupons/discounts for car rental, etc. I know that once you buy a book and register your membership card online you do get further discounts.

I actually have two of them. Got one free if I reserved next years. I use them a lot. Our book has coupons for the grocery store we go to. Car rental discounts include $25 off, free upgrades. I can't remember if I have actually used a coupon, but always use them when checking for rates. Coupons for subway, all kinds of restaurants. Is there a particular online coupon you are looking for?

I did much better bidding on a car thru Priceline.com.
I got a car for about half of the market rate and the entertainment book was running a free day here or there and 10-20% off.

I'm wondering if there are entertainment books depending on where you are going to? We are heading to DisneyLAND in August, and I'd love to see if there are any good rates at the hotels we are considering (Fairfield Inn or Homewood Suites) Thanks!

A good deal in the Entertainment book for DL, if the dates you want are open, is Howard Johnsons (59.99, 69.99, or 79.99 depending on your room class).

Be aware that to use the hotel, rental, etc for WDW or DL you DON'T need the Orlando or Anaheim books!!!

I bought my local book from my office for only $13. I then turned around and booked the HoJo Anaheim at a fab savings - got most expensive rooms at HoJo for $79 a night - facing the Matterhorn so we could see the fireworks each night. When doing the HoJo Anaheim, you will need to show the Entertainment card when you check in, but doesn't matter what town your book is for.

I used the car coupons in LA, Phoenix and Orlando for National in conjunction with my Emerald Club membership. My car coupons were for free days and can be used multiple times. There are also coupons for %s off and upgrades.

I love the on-line coupons - a number of restaurants in our location offer monthly on-line coupons for 20% off the bill.

The books run from fall to fall - I think Sept to Sept?? So far, this year I have saved over $600!!!

Is anyone able to post the codes and coupons for the Car Rentals companies ? I'd like to try plugging in the codes for Jan/Feb 2010. I will get an Entertainment Book most likely but don't have one yet. Most of the codes available at MouseSavers and the linke expire at the end of 2009.
