Hello, I have a question. I saw a pic on one thread that showed "chip and dale" stuffed animals on their bed when they first got to their room. And my question is does everyone get one when they check in? If so, id like to see pics! Pic of your room when you entered!

We have been to Pop, CSR, and POFQ and never had anything when we got there. Mousekeeping will decorate with the things you buy throughout the week sometimes-at POP everyday they would put all DS things he had bought in different places. One time they were hanging from the curtains and in the windows, another day his stuffed Mickey was watching TV.

Last trip he had bought a rubber snake from Rainforest and I got a voicemail from the housekeeping office asking us to put it up or the housekeeper would not clean our room. I thought that was quite rude-it was obviously a rubber snake that they sell on Disney property-but whatever. That was my only complaint about POFQ-I think the housekeeper should have been told to get over it-Im the guest and my son likes rubber snakes.

Our kids always bring along a lot of stuffed animals to sleep with. The mousekeepers almost always arrange them in some kind of cute way. Sometimes they'll be sitting at the foot of the bed with the remote control watching TV... or hanging from the headboard of the beds, or just situated in a cute way on their pillow. The kids enjoy it.

When my dd was young 18 mos or so we stayed at the cabins. She always played w/ the smaller figures. Fisher Price people, farm animals etc. Even her disney princesses were "hand size". We came back to our cabin one day and ALL her figures (must've been at least 25/30) were in the windows. Housekeeping had created "scenes" w/ all the diff characters, it was adorable and dd loved it. I will never forget it.

I remember that thread. They belonged to the guest. Sometimes mousekeeping will leave towel animals in the room that are very cute (not guaranteed though). Many times they will arrange your stuffed animals and toys when they clean though - really cute and the kids get a kick out of it.

My mother has such a fear of snakes that she freezes at the sight of a snake, real, fake or picture, on tv....whatever. As kids we had to go through the Nat Geo to find and pictures of snakes. We then had to staple the pages together.

We stayed at the WL for our 10 year anniversary and when we walked in there was balloons, a signed card from Mickey and Minnie and chocolates.

We bring our own stuffed Disney characters (bought at Wal-Mart). Mousekeeping nearly always arranges them in such cute and fun ways. Towel animals are nice, but take a lot of time and talent to make. We don't enjoy them as much as we do the different "scenes" w/ the stuffed characters.
