Entering WS through the International Gateway

Quick question.....

Later this week we are planning another Epcot day, but this time just World Showcase.

I was telling DH that we could find a way to enter through the international gateway to cut down on some walking all the way through Future World.

What are our options to do this? We are staying at POR and have our car.....but I know we can't park at another resort for 6-7 hours in order to take a boat to the gateway.

Suggestions?

Park at DHS and walk or boat to Epcot. But then you will have to go back to DHS afterwards. I would just park or bus to the front entrance of Epcot. Or bus to DHS if you want to see the sights and then leave via the front.

Valet park at Beach Club, then walk to Epcot. No time restrictions if you pay to park there, so you can stay as long as you'd like. Far better than either walking through Future World or having to go back to DHS, especially if it closes much earlier than Epcot.

Great idea!!!!! Do you know how much valet parking would be for 6 or so hours?

Valet parking is about $15. But in all reality? The amount of walking you'll do from a resort parking lot, to get to the IG, isn't going to be all that less than if you take the bus to Epcot. You may cut down on about 8-10 mins of walking.

Agree with Diane. Its really not that great of a difference for the effort needed to get to the IG entrance.
