Enough time for an attraction between Wishes & MSEP?

I'm going to WDW in less than 3 weeks! :yay: I'll be solo, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule, but I'm a planner at heart. :)

I've never seen the MSEP. I know, I know... I plan to rectify this!

My plan right now is to be at the MK on a Tuesday, the park is open until 11:00 PM. MSEP shows at 9:00 PM, Celebrate the Magic (which I've also never seen) at 9:45 PM, Wishes at 10:00 PM (I've seen this from California Grill but not in the MK), and MSEP again at 11:00 PM. I'm going to stake out a spot for Celebrate the Magic and Wishes, probably near the hub close to Frontierland. Then I'd love to fit in a ride on BTMRR and/or Splash Mountain before the 11:00 PM MSEP. Then I'd watch MSEP from Frontierland or Liberty Square before exiting the park - it's not important to me to rush out, because I also want to catch The Kiss Goodnight, something else I've never seen. :)

I've read that Wishes lasts 12 minutes, but I don't know how soon I'd need to be in my spot for the 11:00 PM MSEP, which I've read is usually less crowded than the earlier MSEP. Do you think I'd be able to sneak in a ride before MSEP?

Thanks for any help! :goodvibes

I'd say you can definitely do that. We saw Wishes from Tomorrowland, dilly-dallied a bit, and then decided to ride Jungle Cruise before the second MSEP the last time we were there, and we were back on Main Street in plenty of time! We were able to get right on JC though, no waiting.

Should not be a problem. The parade starts on Main St at 11pm. If you watch in Frontierland/Liberty Square, it takes a bit to get over there. We watched the 11pm parade from Frontierland just this past Friday, there was hardly anyone there. We had a nice seated spot, no one in front of us. It was really nice.

I'm going to say maybe. It depends how good of a view you want for the parade. If you're okay with standing and possibly a blocked view, you can do this for sure. If you want to sit, probably not.

I'm going to disagree with everyone else and say no. I think you'll have just enough time to make your way over to Frontierland and stake out a good spot. The second parade will be less crowded, but unless BTMRR or Splash Mountain are walk-ons, they'll take up too much time.

Thanks! Where exactly did you watch the parade from?

I've read that some good spots in Frontierland are by the fence that goes around Pecos Bill's Café, the elevated wooden walkway on the Mercantile side, on a bench in front of the Shooting Arcade, or in rocking chairs on the dock to Tom Sawyer Island. I'll have to scope it out! :)

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I'll keep a close eye on the wait times. BTMRR is the shorter ride by a long shot but may have a longer line than Splash Mountain, especially if it's a cooler evening.

Thanks, everyone!

I would say if the stand by for BRMRR is 15 mins or less you can. Don't attempt to do Splash. It's a long ride, like 11 Mins I think

Excellent point, thanks! I'll also look at other attractions nearby that have less than a 15-minute wait and aren't too long.
