Enough for a year Swap Progress Thread- Items here- I have to ANGEL a Group and find

My New Years group is done. I have 2 of the 3 elements done for the Easter group. I ordered some stuff online, including some embellishments I was thinking of using for the 3rd item, and the order hasn't come yet.

I haven't started anything yet. Just got back from vacation and have to get the kids in school tomorrow for their first day. We took advantage of school starting late due to construction and went to Disney. Got back at 4pm today and still have to unpack and get the school stuff together. My daughter starts a new school and they never sent a letter about what time school starts.
Well enough of me venting. I have a lot of stuff to do before I get to sleep(in my own bed YEAH) We've been away since 9/1.

The Jolee's sale at Ms (40% off) has come at a great time.....I got some things yesterday and today I hope I can get stuff for a couple of more groups.

I think I will use my new Locker Room cart for one of my school groups.

Do y'all think there would be enough interest to do this quarterly for the group for that particulat season?

I was thinking that would be a good idea. There is a lot of cute Halloween and Christmas embellishments, but not so much for Easter. But I bet if we did it during spring there would be a ton.

Susie, I have no idea what co it comes from.....it was on the clearance table at my LSS when they remodeled. I bought it to use for my x-mas cards and thought it would be perfect for my swap, I would send you some but only have enough left for my cards . The velvet paper was at Beverly's (like Mikes) I'm sure its at most stores. Sorry I can't give you more info, glad they made it there though.

I have done my two elements for my Christmas group but have no idea what to put on the title. DH and I don't do much for Christmas since it's just the two of us so I would greatly appreciate some input on what y'all might like. I am using the standard red, green and white and my patterned paper has Dec. 25 written all over it. Would y'all be OK with something generic like "Christmas Day" or just plain "Christmas"? Seriously, please help with ideas as I don't have ANY!

I'm fine with just "Christmas". That way it can be used in many ways. Keep it simple - that's my motto!

So would it be OK for me to make my bases for the topper but leave them blank and then send letters that each person could adhere if they want to? I don't want to leave them blank if people don't have the means to cut letters but this option would allow each person to add the title they want.

Got ideas for fathers day. For Easter I'd like to know if people would like non religious themes or religious - I can make them specific for people in the group so if some wanted bunnies and eggs for example they could get those and for others I would do something else (haven't quite figured out yet but am thinking what would work well, He is Risen! Alleluia! maybe or something with a stained glass look...it's 4am and I'm not thinking too well!)

I hadn't planned on it as some people just don't use them......but if you hit a creative block..... you can do 2 4X6 ones
