Engagement Picture Help

[Perdido]

We are going to Disney for our planning session in December and are planning on having our engagement pictures taken on Saturday. Do any of you have any suggestions for a place? We don’t necessarily want to have our pictures taken in the Parks. I was thinking in a garden somewhere. Any ideas?

where are you staying? ive seen some great photos at wilderness lodge & at the gardens at port orleans.

we had our engagement pictures done by randy at the polynesian on the beach, dock, hill & garden area. they turned out great.

I had my engagement pics taken at the Poly as well, I'm not sure where to go for a garden feel in Dec, I know most places plant pointsettias.
Jonette had hers done at POFQ and they were lovley. PORS would probably also produce some nice pictures.

The Wilderness Lodge at Christmas would be gorgeous! If you want more of a garden look then the POFQ/POR may be your best option.

if you take pictures at GF or Poly are there any shots of the castle in the background?

don't know if you'd be able to go round the back of the pavilion, to picture point, 'cos there's a view of the castle through the arch.

We had our engagement pics taken by Randy in August and we went to the GF. It seems they always have beautiful grounds. As long as there's not a wedding going on at the pavilion, you should be able to go around to the back and take pics with the castle in the background. THat would be lovely. Wherever you choose to go, it will be beautiful. Have fun!!!

Yes also at the poly there is a spot called 'sunset point" where they have intimate weddings...it is on a bluff/hill on the lake with a view of the castle..but it is distant of course it is across the lake The beach between the gf and poly also has a castle view!

We had our engagement photos done at the GF in September with Randy. The one in my signature is one of them. There are some great garden, fountain, beach and boat dock locations there. You and your photographer will have a ton to choose from there. Ours were great.

How far in advance do you have to book an engagement photo session? We had one scheduled here in GA last week, but I got really sick and we had to cancel. We're using disney photography for our wedding in June and thought maybe we could do them at our planning session in january.
