Energetic Baby

We will be vacationing with my son for his first birthday in two weeks. We are staying about 50 miles away with family but will be driving in for two days to go to Epcot and MK. My son can't walk yet (maybe in two weeks, crossing fingers!) but he is an extrememly energetic little guy!

Is there anywhere in either park where he can get out of the stroller, crawl around, and burn off some energy?

You can check out Pooh's Thoughtful Spot across from the Pooh ride at MK (there is a water feature here!), and little playground at Toontown (by train station). There is also a tiny play area at Splash Mountain...no good for baby if crowded. Ariel's Grotto can be fun, but there are water squirters everywhere and may be too hectic if crowded.

I can't really think of a good spot at Epcot, besides the Innovation buildings if it is not too busy. There was a play area by the rose garden, but I thought that was temporary for the flower show in May. An idea for Epcot if you really need a play break is to pop out the International Gate and stroll the Boardwalk or boat over to the Boardwalk and use their playground or the beach at beach club...pretty toddler friendly, but may be a bit of a hike if time is an issue.

Yeah, I cant really think of any place where they could crawl around freely and safely except for the Pooh area at MK. But there are baby care centers at each park with nice clean and cool areas for toddlers to feed, change diapers, and just chill out!!! These were the best when we went with my EXTEMELY energetic 15 month old last May. I reccomend
