End of May

We are currently booked to check-in on May 23. We are staying a week. I thought the earlier we went at the end of May (our school gets out May 22) the better. However I saw a post the other day that said maybe the next week would be better. We can leave anytime after May 22 and it doesn't have to been Saturday-Saturday. We could go Monday-Monday, Tuesday-Tuesday, etc. Does anyone have an opinion as to if it will matter crowd-wise when we go?

I've heard the closer you get to Memorial Day, the worse it gets. Memorial Day is like the summer season kick off there. I went last year on May 14 and we had medium crowds. It wasn't shoulder to shoulder, but it also wasn't anywhere near empty. I would go during that time again. The weather was nice, too.

I would love to go earlier but we have to wait until school get out. May 23 is the earliest we can go. I just wondered since it was Memorial Day week if it makes a difference to go a few days or week later. I know the later we go the more schools will be out but I also know that Memorial Day week will probably draw crowds too. Just not sure if it makes a difference.

From the 23rd on, Josh from EasyWDW has the crowds at 7s, 8s, and 9s. So it will be moderately heavy even if you wait a few days.
