Okay I am having some serious Disney withdrawals and right now the plan is to return in Dec 2007. BUT, I am thinking that maybe I could go the end of Jan 2006. I could take the kids out of school when exams are done. So, whats the crowd situation at this time? I have only been in Sept and Dec....We are a low crowd kinda family since we hit the parks commando style!! :rotfl:

The parks will be very quiet and the weather will be a toss-up. Due to my son's school schedule the last week of January is our usual time to go. It's great, but don't be shocked if it is too cool for swimming.

I can handle no swimming. Last December is was a little too cool, for me, in the pools as well. We spend our summers at Water Country USA, so I get my water park fix then. :cool1: I guess I had better start planning! I wonder if I should tell DH or just spring it in him!!! :rolleyes1

It is pretty cool, but nice. We wore long sleeves and jeans the whole time. We still had lines but not as long as at other times.

I have never seen the parks more empty than when I was there in January. I think its a fabulous time to go. It was even 84 degrees!

But I've also been in Nov/begining of Dec when it was so freezing. Winter is tough for knowing what the weather would be like.

So true! I've been there in January when it was mid 70's to 80's every day and then other years when it struggled to be 50.

But the one thing you can count on is that there won't be a lot of people. We love going in Jan. and we'll be there again in 7 short months.
Maine :firefight

January, in my opinion, is the best time to go....Very cool weather, and no crowds....But be prepared by bringing an assortment of clothing, last year we wore light jackets, and shorts, and light pants...the year before, we wore sweaters, coats, gloves and hats---it was freezing!! :cold:
