End of April or beginning of May?

We've been planning on going to Disney the last week in April, arriving on the25th or 26th, with our 2 DDs (will be 21 months, and just turning 3). We figured that this would be after Spring Breaks, and before the end of school for most people. Now I'm concerned that it might still be crowded then, with Easter being pretty late next year, on the 19th. Would it be better to switch our vacation to the next week, starting May 2nd or 3rd? Or is there some disadvantage to going that week too? We are looking for low crowds and water warm enough to swim in. Just wondering if one week would be better than the other, and the reasons why.

Hello I went last april 24-30 2008, It was great the kids went swimming every day. It was hot most days, not to busy so I dont think it will be bad. We stayed CBR and loved it. We didnt wait long on anything, would go that time of year again. Hope that helps

My daughter and I went last year in the third week of April. Weather was perfect and not crowded at all.

I forgot to mention that Easter is on the 12th of April next year. I am going to be there Easter Sunday thru the 17th. Also hoping it won't be too-too crowded.

I prefer early May, simply based on the weather. It's a little warmer during the day, but not overly hot. Plus, by early May, spring break period is over, and the crowds are lighter.

We normally go the 1st or 2nd week in May. Low crowds during the week and the weather is great. Plenty hot enough for swimming and we live on the NC coast, actually very close to the SC border so we are used to mild temps. I really don't think the last week of April will be much different. Easter and spring breaks are over by then. I don't think you'll go wrong with either week. We'll be there May 3-8.
