Enchanted tales with Belle

Is Enchanted Tales with Belle worth using one of the FP+ for the day! I have 3 teenage boys, myself and one older daughter who is a huge Belle fan. I was wondering if this attraction was easier to get in after 7 pm, and maybe I wouldn't need to use the FP for it. Thanks

My daughter (11) loved it. It's pretty long IMO. You can try to get there early and hit that 1st which might work.

Unless the boys have a special thing for Belle I'd say there are lots of other things they'd rather use the FP on.

All the reports have been that later in the evening when there are fewer children in the parks it is less of a wait.

We did it as our last attraction of the night and had a 20 minute wait last summer. I think doing it in the evening without a FP is the way to go.

Definitely, although your boys might get to be chosen to be suits of armour. It can get a huge line very fast. While we were there it was the most popular attraction, so I wouldn't count on doing it later. Plus many other MK attractions don't need a FP after Wishes. Your daughter will love it since it's better than a meet and greet with Belle.

On Presidents' Day, we selected "day of" Fp+ at 9:00 a.m.when we entered and the earliest available time for ETWB was 11:55 p.m. The CM ran it again and still 11:55 p.m. We decided not to try for ETWB and selected three other rides.

We came back three days later for our BoG dinner ADR and at 3:30 p.m. we waited less than 30 minutes for ETWB. It worked out well to see ETWB and then have dinner at BoG!

About how many kids get picked to participate? I know my DD will really want to do this, but I also think she might be upset if she doesn't get picked.

They pick most of the kids, but if they also offer parts to any kid who wants one. I got picked as a knight, but my son didn't get picked for anything. So when they asked if anyone else wanted a part - he said he wanted a part. He was a spoon.

Just let your daughter know that if she wants a part and doesn't get picked that when they ask if anyone else wants a part she needs to speak up, because if she doesn't she won't get one.

At the end, they have a photo op for the people that were in the show.

We were lucky enough to do this when they were testing it out when it was still behind the walls. My whole family loved it, even though it was still in the testing faze. We skipped it on our trip in October because the line was so long, but I did make sure to get a FP+ for our upcoming trip. My kids are 12 (will be 13 at time of trip) and 10 and they both can't wait to see it again. DH and I loved the attention to detail that the imagineers put into it. So to answer your question, to make sure you don't stand in a long line, I would say get a FP+ for it, but then again I don't know what the line will be later on in the day and into the night, especially if you plan on missing Wishes that night.

we also used a FP for it. The line was pretty long all day for it, so I am glad that we used a FP for it.

And the special effects are pretty cool- the mirror, lumere and the wardrobe. Your teenage boys will probably think the mirror is cool. I know I was blown away by it.

They pick two men (or male teens) for suits of armor. Someone for the Beast (the best part since that child gets to dance with Belle and wear a cape. And yes, it can be a girl who is chosen.) They pick a Maurice, Phillpe (the horse), Mrs. Potts and Chip, the wardrobe and then they have extra dishes for any child who wants a part and wasn't chosen. The ones chosen play a pretty short part (nothing hard or lengthy) My 2 year old is often picked as Chip. The parts aside from Beast just hold a large laminated picture of the part they're playing and there are a couple of CMs inside to wrangle kids and help with the parts. Then at the end any child can get in line to get a quick picture with Belle. She will not sign autographs. You get a pre-signed bookmark and the pics are taken by a Photopass photographer. The light in low in there and you cannot use a flash for personal photos. A good deal of the attraction is in Maurice's workshop before you go see the magic mirror and then in front of the wardrobe being assigned the parts for the play.

It's a bit of a long attraction and one you may not want to run to first thing since you can 'waste' your rope drop advantage. Though the FP+ do go fast and the attraction usually averages an hour wait all day.

I was picked for this part and another woman was picked. I would say we played some pretty awesome knights.

Interesting. I've done the attraction tons of times and have always seen males (more specifically dads of kids in the play) in those roles. (Not that it really matters.)

FWIW, I was expecting them to pick a couple dad's. Even my husband possibly. I was a little shocked when they picked me. I was like, uh....me???

We did this on our last trip and loved it!! We did it late at night because I wanted a part and as an adult, I knew I had a better chance at night. The only problem doing it at night is that they told us that they don't start the show until they have at least 20 people. Thankfully, with a bit of pixie dust, we hit that number!

I have this down to do at rope drop on one of my full days at MK. But now I am debating if that is smart as it may interfere with getting on rides with short lines for the first couple of hours. I'll have a few more half days at MK so maybe it will still be okay.
