We are on the Fantasy for 7 nights and I noticed looking at past navigators that the Enchanted Garden was open for breakfast and lunch on some days and I was wondering if there were menus at all or are they like the embarkation days i.e. similar buffet to what is served in Cabanas, if so I may give it a miss as I found that line soooo slow compared to going to the different stations at Cabanas.

Thanks

It's menu service, and it is wonderful. Quiet, relaxing, attentive service by the servers, an enchanted (lol) setting. We love eating breakfast and lunch in the main dining rooms.

Thanks for your answer I was trying to hunt down a Breakfast Menu for Enchanted Garden but all I can find is references to buffet so now I am quite confused!

I would love to see updated menus for the restaurants...I've seen a few online but they're not from this year at all.

Interesting...on every cruise, including last month on the Fantasy, we've gone to the MDRs for breakfast and ordered from the menu. Half the time seems like at least one of our waiters is there.

I just called Disney Cruise Line because I was confused and they told me that breakfast in Enchanted Garden has always been buffet style but Royal Court/Palace is order from the menu :)

Edit: sorry should have also said this is Dream and Fantasy only.

Ahhhhhhh....my goof! I highly recommend the menu setting in Royal C/P. All as I described above.

the breakfast buffet in enchanted garden was not very impressive and nothing was hot either. not exactly cold but not hot. i prefer cabanas for buffet. plus much more variety.

Just off the Fantasy yesterday and I can confirm that Enchanted Garden is buffet and Royal Court is menu items.

We followed our service team around on most mornings and ate in their section, so it allowed/forced us to have breakfast a different place each day.

Just don't get the doughnuts in Cabanas lol. Kidding to a point. They are not like regular doughnuts. Even my kids didn't want them because they tasted weird and weren't like regular doughnuts ;)
I didn't care much for Cabana food. We never did try the MDRs for breakfast due to lack of time before port adventures. This time we have a couple of sea days and will definitely go that route instead of fighting everyone for the last egg at Cabanas!

I thought the disney ships have krispy Kreme donuts?

Haha, not on ours they didn't. We avoided the doughnuts like the plague lol. Maybe they usually do, but not our cruise. Whatever they had was most definitely NOT Krispy Kreme ;) they were the same exact ones every morning too.

We were on the same cruise and did the same thing. Though not every day. We couldn't always (read never) make it to Royal Court so we missed the a la carte options this trip. The kids loved the EG buffet, though!
