Can someone tell me? Are these new Early Morning Hours that anyone can pay for separate from the Early Morning Hour that resort guests receive. It seems the pay option is for only 3 rides? Are there a limited number of tickets for the pay option? Has this started and has anyone on DIS tried it?

Early Morning Magic are a separate entity from Extra Magic Hours. Different days, different attractions, breakfast and such. There are a couple of threads here with reports, and folks are getting quite a few rides before the park opens. Breakfast seems to be good, too.

EMH is a marketing thing for the resorts, but remember there are 100,000 people at the resorts at any given time. The whole park (or most of it) is open during EMH. EMM is for the whole universe, but only opens three rides and cost money. As a result, so far, the participants have been able to ride those three rides a lot, and they get a head start on the rest of the park. Plus it allows for better use of FPs, because two of the big-tickets are already done, sometimes in multiple rides. But 70 bucks is 70 bucks.

The whole park (or most of it) is open during EMH.

Oops!
Defiantly NOT the case, especially for AM EMH.

There is a specific list of attractions that are open for AM EMH.
(Certainly more than 3 or 4, but far from "most of the park.)

PM EMH attractions are limited, as well, but far more are open than during AM EMH.
